Great location in Oxford City center, within walking distance to all the sites to see including museums, colleges, and shopping. Very comfortable bed, good shower, and quiet room. Nice restaurant on site, but with so many great local cafes & traditional pubs, we chose to eat out each meal. About a 90 minute drive to the Cotswolds.
Welcome to Linton Lodge a BW Signature Collection Hotel, a traditional and well-appointed hotel nestled in a quiet residential street just minutes away from the bustling heart of Oxford.

The Linton Lodge is an older, clean, accommodating hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the room was large. The bathroom was clean, but the shower door would not close properly. There was a fan in the room, which we appreciated. We drove into Oxford and had to pay for parking, which was not a surprise. We did not partake of the breakfast. It was not complimentary and cost over 15 EUR. The hotel is on a quiet street and is not far from the town center. Overall, it was a comfortable stay at a good price.
George street hotel offers accommodations in Oxford, a 1-minute walk from the Oxford New Theater. The air-conditioned rooms have private bathrooms. Some rooms offer views of the University of Oxford.

Very comfortable beds, small room but adequate. Nice bathroom with excellent water pressure. Room was quiet at the back of the hotel.
Conveniently set in the center of Oxford, Courtyard by Marriott Oxford City Centre provides air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers a bar.

A good location, friendly enough staff. Beds were comfortable.
This peaceful, elegant hotel with a country-manor style is a 10-minute walk from the center of Oxford. It has a restaurant and bar, a cozy lounge, and pleasant guest bedrooms.

It was delicious and the staff was adorable. The house is really beautiful. We were really happy with the kettle and biscuits in the room, + they took into account our special requests. Next time in Oxford, we know where we ll stay.
Awful. You can’t control your own heating and have to ask….then they don’t respond. I have never come across this anywhere in my life.
Church bells ring in the hour all night….it is very near the bedroom and will wake you up every hour
Dirty towels and poor responses from the hosts
Not luxury in any way
I would avoid if you want a relaxing place to stay

If you are wanting to stay in a village close to, but not...
If you are wanting to stay in a village close to, but not actually in Oxford, then consider Cassington. Though small, Cassington has the rural village outlook but is just a few miles away from Oxford. The Park & Ride is 4 miles away; also the train station at Oxford Parkway for day getaways to London by rail. There are two pubs in Cassington - the Red Lion and Chequers. The 20 mph speed limit in the village make it safe for strolling and dog walking. A great base for access to Blenheim Palace and many Oxfordshire walks.
beautiful location. beautiful decor and layout inside. very cosy.
the bed could do with changing ideally. quality bed I’d give this stay a 10. with some quality duvet and covers. the quality of the actual bedroom doesn’t match the price of the stay. I stay in hotels and holiday let’s on a weekly basis. so I get my fair share of beds to test.
really good shower. everything else
was fine.
We wanted to spend the weekend in the Cotswolds and this was a perfect location. The property had all the amenities we required and was very comfortable and it was easy to park. There was a suggestion in the property to visit the Worton Garden Kitchen which we walked to and what a little gem that was. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cassington and the surrounding area.
