Good location for Oxford. Pretty garden / seating area. Clean, plenty of facilities for cooking etc. Comfy bed for me, although not standard double which is a shame as plenty room for a decent sized bed.
This converted Victorian prison is now a stunning boutique hotel offering unique luxury accommodation in historic Oxford. Limited private parking is available for a surcharge.

Location was good, the amenities and room as a whole were acceptable
Breakfast was warm and choice was good but extra money on top of an already over inflated room rate

Reception staff were great
Room was fab and the air-conditioning worked a treat.
Our dinner was included, but we weren't expecting it to be in a restaurant off site. It was only a 5 minute walk and exceeded our expectations.
Breakfast was perfect for us.
This peaceful, elegant hotel with a country-manor style is a 10-minute walk from Oxford city centre. It has a restaurant and bar, a cosy lounge, and pleasant guest bedrooms.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were given the option to drop our bags and leave in their storage area before check in and after we'd checked out so we could explore the city without our luggage. The room was clean and somewhat spacious for a basement room. No window for the basement rooms but did reduce the overall cost. They did have AC thankfully as it was rather warm which worked well. Shower room was well stocked and was nice and clean.
No breakfast on the premises but they have a deal with the cafe/restaurant next door where you get 10% off. The Oxford Brunch Bar in which you can go for breakfast was delicious. Really good selection of quality food at a very reasonable price.
Situated in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, The Kings Arms features a restaurant and a bar. The hotel offers free WiFi.

All the staff were particularly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was good, both dinner and breakfast, and the location was perfect. Our room was lovely - spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is quirky and individual with great attention to detail and good value for money. We would definitely recommend.
The Old Parsonage Hotel is a boutique hotel set in a building dating back to 1660.

It’s a real gem of a hotel - great location, comfortable room and and friendly staff. The breakfast waitress in particular was super helpful and the breakfast was really high quality.
Awful. You can’t control your own heating and have to ask….then they don’t respond. I have never come across this anywhere in my life.
Church bells ring in the hour all night….it is very near the bedroom and will wake you up every hour
Dirty towels and poor responses from the hosts
Not luxury in any way
I would avoid if you want a relaxing place to stay

If you are wanting to stay in a village close to, but not...
If you are wanting to stay in a village close to, but not actually in Oxford, then consider Cassington. Though small, Cassington has the rural village outlook but is just a few miles away from Oxford. The Park & Ride is 4 miles away; also the train station at Oxford Parkway for day getaways to London by rail. There are two pubs in Cassington - the Red Lion and Chequers. The 20 mph speed limit in the village make it safe for strolling and dog walking. A great base for access to Blenheim Palace and many Oxfordshire walks.
beautiful location. beautiful decor and layout inside. very cosy.
the bed could do with changing ideally. quality bed I’d give this stay a 10. with some quality duvet and covers. the quality of the actual bedroom doesn’t match the price of the stay. I stay in hotels and holiday let’s on a weekly basis. so I get my fair share of beds to test.
really good shower. everything else
was fine.
We wanted to spend the weekend in the Cotswolds and this was a perfect location. The property had all the amenities we required and was very comfortable and it was easy to park. There was a suggestion in the property to visit the Worton Garden Kitchen which we walked to and what a little gem that was. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cassington and the surrounding area.
