I did like the friendly atmosphere, the comfort of the room, the good food and the vicinity to LGW. As a Cabin Manager who lives in London and sometimes has to stay in the vicinity of the airport when the M25 is partially closed, being in the countryside but at only 12 mins from the North Terminal was fantastic. It is a pity that it is not possible to check out a bit later if the flight is in the afternoon. But I do understand that this accommodation is not in partnership with any airline. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it!
Located less than 10 minutes from Gatwick, Oak Tree Lodge and Holiday Parking offers rooms with attached bathroom along with safe on-site holiday parking and transfers.

Burstow is a small village near to Gatwick Airport - close enough, but not so that one is bothered by aircraft noise. It is an ideal place for a night's stay before travelling from the airport, being about a fifteen to twenty minute drive away. There are three or four pubs / restaurants within about one mile.

The staff were friendly but the food was appalling and room was very shabby. The sheets were clean but no tea available & the coffee machine not working. Left before breakfast service and no alternative offered.
Don’t go there.

I didn't really like anything.
I didn't really like anything. I wanted a comfortable place for one overnight before leaving from nearby airport in the morning, where I could also get an evening meal. I should have stayed at the airport.

We were attending a family gathering.
We were attending a family gathering. Travel to & from the venue was straight forward & there were a number of local places to stop & visit. The food at the accommodation was so good that we continued to utilise & eat there. Plenty of other restaurants nearby though.

Considering we are in a difficult time with the coronavirus, Staff at the Curious Pig in the Parlour made us very welcome, especially our receptionist. She made our stay perfect, anything I asked for she helped us.
We decided to eat our evening meal in the hotel, we had our car with us but decided not to go out in the evening. Although we had not originally booked a table for our evening meal, the staff they made sure we could get a table. We decided to eat outside in the gardens.
The food was exceptional, we decided to eat there again the second night.
We are definitely planning to go back.
