Tucked away in a lovely location. Elegantly furnished with ‘included extras’ (tea, coffee, water). Lovely lounge area with tea, coffee, water, books & games). Comfortable sunny private terrace, separate from main function rooms & restaurant. Staff attentive but not intrusive.

The property was absolutely delightful. All the furnishings and utilities have been really well thought out and it's really homely as a result. The property was spotlessly clean and there was a good supply of items to help us ensure it was clean when we left. We only stayed for 2 nights but there is a washing machine and dryer for anyone staying longer. We had a dog with us and he loved being able to run in the enclosed paddock that was available for our use. Would definitely book again.

Difficult to find, breakfast consisted of breakfast bars and some pastries, no milk, no one there to greet us and delayed instructions on how to find the key on a baking hot afternoon, TV's didn't work, kitchen and dining room complete mess and jumble - washing drying everywhere, no lock on bathroom door or the room we were staying in, dirty wet used towel in toilet, no light in downstairs toilet, no hot water, towel hanger fell off the wall, the door to our room was glass panels with a piece of material velcro'd over . Presumably the microwave and kitchenware was in the kitchen - but you wouldn't want to cook anything in there - washing up left on draining board, washing half in machine and over the floor, work tops just jumbled - it really looked as though they had forgotten we were coming. No one rang to see if we had checked in ok and whether everything was ok but someone let themselves in at 7.30am the next morning, but made no attempt to speak to us, just went upstairs which all felt very creepy - we made a hasty retreat to a cafe at the nearby hospice! Would certainly never return here again!!

The location is superb, on the High Street, right opposite the entrance to Windsor Castle.
Breakfast was tasty but bacon all stuck together on all 3 mornings, no grilled tomatoes available, eggs good, toast burnt, coffee good on two mornings, very bitter on the third.
Dinner was good in the evenings but excessively costly compared to last year, service variable from day to day.
This hotel is dog-friendly and the lifts work (I am mobility disabled), both of which are very good.
It was not as busy as last year, so plenty of space available in the underground car park.
Bed was comfortable.

An accommodation experience that relaxes the mind and enjoys food. There are not many famous local attractions. If you have a high level of spending, you can consider the two local Michelin three-star restaurants. The main reason I went was to relax in a place with few people, so if you are after shopping and excitement, this may not be for you.
