Incredible location and the staff were fantastic. It was closed season so very quiet, but they couldn’t do more to help and make sure our stay was special. I had an accident and they were so helpful with information about how to get to the hospital and even called me the following day after we’d left the hotel to find out how I was. That meant a lot!

Everything. Host was lovely and very helpful room was ideal for us spacious ground floor very comfy. I liked we could get fresh milk from a fridge in the hallway anytime we wanted. Breakfast was really lovely plenty choice. The location was great to access both the village and the harbour bus stops directly outside which was great as we like to not have to drive if possible.

Boscastle is excellent to visit in December, the scenery is superb, the walks bracing but fabulous, with plenty of inland walks if the wind gets too much on the coast path. All the pubs, cafes and most of the shops were still open, with a fantastic atmosphere in all. Treat yourself to a winter break!

Boscastle was a brilliant little village and we enjoyed being able to walk to the pubs and restaurants as we were down in the village. We did some small walks as I was with an older group and with the majority of the restaurants and pubs on the flat. Great drives also to other villages not far away like Port Issac. Look forward to visiting again one day.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming place, and it was an unforgettable experience! Nestled in a serene location, the cottage offered a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. The cozy interiors were beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The surrounding nature was breathtaking, with picturesque views that made for lovely morning coffee moments on the porch. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided thoughtful touches, from local tips to snacks upon arrival. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or an adventurous retreat, this cottage is the ideal spot. I can't wait to return! Highly recommend!

Boscastle is a lovely place to stay for short visits.

Boscastle is a lovely place to stay for short visits. It has good accommodation in the small centre and a beautiful estuary for walking with some places of interest along the way. I have family who live in the area and thoroughly enjoy my stay with them as there are local beaches and plenty more to visit if you want to venture out further. It is close to Port Issacs where Doc Martin the series was filmed and Bude is a lovely place to venture out to. Just a few of many places that are in reasonable distance from Boscastle itself🙂

Beautiful scenery, totally surrounded by lush green hillsides. Stunning river flowing through the quaint village -parts of which have cobblestone streets. Saw the most amazing sunsets and rises down towards the harbour. Often felt like I was on a TV drama set. Really enjoyed experiencing this gem.

I went to visit Tintagel but Boscastle was very close to it in fact there was more to do in Boscastle than Tintagel with a variety of unique shops, including a leather shop which I felt in love with. Plenty of lovely walks too. Other places of interest such as Port Isaac was very nearby

Great location our room was on first floor with views to the village of Boscastle & the surrounding area. The staff were very good & went out of their way to ensure we had good stay. I would like to make special mention of Reece & Wolfie who helped us with a few issues we had with tv & found us a bedside lamp so I could read in bed.
