Hotel was lovely and quiet! Thick stone walls mean you can’t hear neighbouring rooms.
The rooms overall are incredible! Beautifully designed, chromecast tv, underfloor heating, awesome shower and bath, room service, and complementary fridge.
I visited the hotel in the quiet season and was repeatedly the only one at breakfast! An absolute dream.
I’m very fussy with hotels, but this is easily the best I’ve ever stayed at!
Less than a mile from the A30, the Lanhydrock Hotel offers lovely views of its 18-hole golf course.

Excellent hotel, the very best of accommodation, great staff both helpful and extremely aware of customer needs. The food was exceptional and cleanliness was beyond reproach. Experience rivialed many other 5 star accommodation we have used.
Nestled amid the beautiful Cornish countryside, between Bodmin and Wadebridge, this charming hotel is beautifully set within a Grade II listed building, dating back to the early 18th century.

It was a very nice property with a bit of history attached to it. We were housed in an adjoining cottage in an upstairs room with ensuite facilities.
This was in the countryside so very quiet in the evening.
Dinner and breakfast were good, well presented and plentiful.
All rooms at Lanhydrock View are fitted with a seating area and a flat-screen TV. Featuring a private bathroom with a bath and a hair dryer, rooms at the guest house also boast free WiFi.

A busy town and lots of traffic.
A busy town and lots of traffic. Worth exploring, but I didn't have the time, other than looking at the old jail. Good mid-way stopping point if travelling further into Cornwall.
The hotel served a very good breakfast and the evening meal was well prepared: the lamb that I had was beautifully cooked. The options for puddings were mainly cake-based and personally, I found my meringue option a tad sweet (as one might expect) with no pouring cream to calm it down!

Was visiting a sick relative in the hospital & hotel very convenient for that. Have always been in transit elsewhere so didn't know the town well. So attractive and clean. Very friendly people who readily helped direct or help in other ways. I have relatives who came from Probus and Devonshire so visited both counties from 1946 onwards and think changes by and large sensitive and well carried out. The beauty of the county and rural nature has been largely preserved and if controlled population increase measures are sympathetically controlled, the character of the county ought to be preserved along with its beauty.

A great experience, the renovation work is amazing throughout the hotel! We only stayed there for 1 night but we would have liked to have spend more time.
Comfortable beds, and a great spacious bathroom.
Great breakfast options.
Would be great to have gluten free options in the room service menu.

This was a wonderful place to stay - a lovely old house set in beautiful grounds. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were both large. There were plenty of drawers and wardrobe space. There was a shared lounge area for relaxing in. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The location was great for travelling to both sides of Cornwall - Port Isaac side and Looe side, and just a short car drive to Bodmin Parkway train station. Car parking was available on site. Breakfasts were delicious.
The little cottage was easy to find and the instructions to get in via a key safe were very clear. An extremely well equipped and comfortable cottage. The big bonus was the little seating area outside where we had breakfast. We met the friendly little dog a couple of times at breakfast - very well behaved and sweet. I would stay here again if I came to Bodmin. We met the owner who lives next door. She was lovely and very helpful with just one thing we needed to check up with.
The hotel was so clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
We visited in March and our room was always warm and cosy, massive rooms with comfy beds and clean soft linen.
Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and cooked to perfection. High quality produce.
It was only a 10 minute drive from Bodmin town centre so it was really easy to find.
Quiet and peaceful location.
The piece and quiet of this cottages location and the thoughtfulness of the host such as the welcome drinks and even treats for our dog that was a nice touch. very clean and tidy cottage ideal for exploring Cornwall and right in centre of bodmin Moor we would definitely stay again when next in Cornwall
