We were only here for a night but needed to go in the town for breakfast. There were plenty of places to eat, a cinema and shops. We liked the facilities and would visit again. There are lots of lovely places around to drive to within a reasonable time, such as Caerphilly Castle and Cardiff.

McKenzies cafe. they do the best food in the area, breakfast to die for, staff are soooooo nice and polite. They were so helpful in sorting out a "Takeout" for the journey home. Parking (at the time) was free, behind the main street (coming in off the roundabout 50 yards on the right, sharp right). Asda, drive past (on your right) about half a mile, turn right, half a mile back to the shop ?? Nice cinema.

The place is beautiful, clean and cosy, the owner has just thought of everything you could need! The host was just fantastic, my Satnav could not find the address and so she graciously guided me in even past 10pm - nothing was too much, even checked in with me to make sure everything was OK. This is an absolute little gem of a place and I hasten to share with everyone at the risk of not being able to book in again, but the owners deserve every bit of credit.

Great boutique hotel . We stayed 2 nights and Howard and Cath were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the attension to detail was at it's best. Breakfast was suberb. We would highly recommend this hotel with local walks and cardiff centre only 20-30minute drive away. Thankyou for the warm welcome, lovely to meet you both.
