This small hotel is situated right on the coast of Dunoon - an ideal base for touring the beautiful Argyll & Bute region. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and generally make you feel welcome.
Breakfast is ordered in advance the previous day and had a decent amount of choice (a couple of cereals/porridge/yoghurt and various cooked breakfast options). Quality of the produce was good and service was faultless.
The facilities in the room were perfectly fine for this level of hotel. I appreciated the bath and the comfortable bed, as well as the thinner/firmer pillows.

Location was excellent - esplanade was practically on your doorstep . The sea view from the room was wonderful- it was such a lovely way to start the morning . The hotel had beautiful gardens to sit in , whilst having a refreshing drink from the bar and enjoying the view. The staff were also amazing and so helpful.

Benmore was beautiful remote location good for getting away and especially at Christmas, we didn’t see many people unless we went into a local town, and we really enjoyed the Benmore hillside walk which we saw not one person.

Excellent location with the nicest botanic gardens with extensive climbing and walking that took the better part of the day to cover.
Nearby Dunoon handy for shopping adn eating.
Further up the glen towards Glenbranter and other forestry walks of variable difficulties is perfect for all ages.
