Staff very friendly and helpful even though they had been having a difficult day. Room was very clean and fresh if a bit dated. Beautiful building and perfectly situated.

Benmore was beautiful remote location good for getting away and especially at Christmas, we didn’t see many people unless we went into a local town, and we really enjoyed the Benmore hillside walk which we saw not one person.

Excellent location with the nicest botanic gardens with extensive climbing and walking that took the better part of the day to cover.
Nearby Dunoon handy for shopping adn eating.
Further up the glen towards Glenbranter and other forestry walks of variable difficulties is perfect for all ages.
