This is our second visit to The White Swan and I imagine we will be back! Rooms are comfortable and clean with some lovely touches. The pub and restaurant itself are great, very cosy with good drink choices. We had breakfast (included) and stayed in for dinner both nights - delicious and big portions. Dogs can stay in room or you can eat in bar with them, it was nice to have that option. Staff are brilliant and make the place.
Blue Bell Hotel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Belford. Offering a bar, the property is located within 10 km of Bamburgh Castle.

The property was lovely and clean, great location. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Communication was excellent with the staff, the garden was secure for the dog. Fabulous welcome pack with lots of goodies for us and the pooch. Decorated lovely for Christmas with all the cottages having Christmas trees and lights outside.
The Apple Inn was a short walk away with great food.

You can take your pick of castles in this area and they're all very close to Belford. The countryside is beautiful and it's only a short ride to the beach. Lot's of wildlife in the area - we could hear an owl from our lodge! The people are lovely too - can't do enough to help.

Quirky little village, lots of character.
Quirky little village, lots of character. Coastline of Northumberland is stunning but expensive to stay so 5 miles inland is much cheaper. No food on a Sunday evening, had to drive 3 miles down A1 to Purdy Lodge which was OK.

Belford is a pleasant village and not a Resort but it is a convenient base to visit the many interesting places in its vicinity.
There are three Pubs, a five star Fish and Chip place, and an excellent Farm shop and restaurant.

Belford is a small Village with little or no amenities, it took 10 minutes to walk the whole village, we only stayed there for one night while travelling on the A1.
The hotel is disappointing, one other pub that didn’t look inviting, no restaurant, cafe or shops.
Great area for sightseeing but one could stay in many more attractive places.

As a village Belford has everything.
As a village Belford has everything. It has Bamburgh and Budle Bay10 mins away. Just off A1 so convenient, it has the usual 2-4 pubs, shops.. The village could do with facelift just as Bluebell hotel does.

Second time we have stayed here, great location for visiting Northumberland or this time we popped up to the Scottish Borders,
Cottage in a quiet back street, for us a lovely little cottage for a short getcaway in a lovely village, If you stay here pop into the Bkack Swan pun for a lovely welcome.
A perfect location for visiting Northumberland (we were attending a nearby wedding)... Bamburgh Beach only ten minutes away. Friendly staff, lovely evening meal and breakfast and a lovely view.
