The staff was very nice. The facility does not have elevators and they were kind enough to bring our luggage up for us and bring it down the next morning. We also left very early and since the stay came with breakfast, they send us off with a sack lunch. The room was also very spacious, clean and comfortable.

This place is beautiful and homey. The views are incredible and very relaxing. The owner is on hand to answer questions and make suggestions. I am just sad we only booked one night.

nice apartment with plenty of space clean lovely wee touches like a well come pack. great location so peaceful dog friendly no extra charges as wee had two dogs most hotels were asking £10 each dog per night as we stayed 4 nights great savings.
There is very little at Barcaldine apart from a few houses...
There is very little at Barcaldine apart from a few houses but it is set in a lovely part of Scotland and is ideal as a touring centre or for cycling as it is on the Caledonia Way. Ideally, you need a car to get to pubs, shops and restaurants and explore. It is a few miles from Oban which has all amenities including ferries to Mull and other places.
