What an amazing place. I arrived by train I just crossed the road and was greeted by beautiful scenery with lots of boats on the water some of which did cruises around the loch. Lots of parks and woods to walk around all easy accessible. The park around balloch castle is stunning. I stayed at the Balloch inn right on the loch with great views and great food, very welcoming(even had a little doggy station in inside the door with towels and water bowels) can’t wait to visit again!

My wife and I stayed here for one night during a small getaway break from NE Scottish weather.
What can I say about the Tullie Inn, other than it's most likely the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed in.
Perfect location, excellent room and facilities and friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful restaurant area with quick service and well prepared/presented dishes. As for breakfast? Be prepared to skip lunch. We had the full Scottish and were absolutely stuffed.
Definitely high on my list of hotels to revisit.
Very well located for easy access to restaurants, shops, pubs etc. beautiful decor in bar/restaurant. Rooms very spacious and clean. The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Very friendly and chatty and couldn’t do enough for us. Would definately stay here again.
The cleanliness of the apartment and facilities where very good. Dog friendly is a massive bonus, lovely river views and very friendly neighbours. Great location for exploring Balloch and Loch Lomond
Great location (Very near a Mcdonalds and a Chinese restaurant, near balloch train station and other food places, and was also near balloch shores)
Bed was super comfortable
