    What an amazing place.

What an amazing place. I arrived by train I just crossed the road and was greeted by beautiful scenery with lots of boats on the water some of which did cruises around the loch. Lots of parks and woods to walk around all easy accessible. The park around balloch castle is stunning. I stayed at the Balloch inn right on the loch with great views and great food, very welcoming(even had a little doggy station in inside the door with towels and water bowels) can’t wait to visit again!

Everything about the hotel and the facilities were top class. Excellent service from all the staff in the hotel and they were all very polite and helpful. The room was super comfy and very spacious. The Grill restaurant for dinner was great and very tasty food. Breakfast served in the Grill in the morning was unbelievable, one of the best I’ve had. A night away to remember after asking my girlfriend to marry me.
