Nothing.Made unwelcome. Door closed in my face by manager as I attempted to leave my room. I was told off for when I had to get the manager to open the door to let me back in at 21.10. He said "I should have taken my wife in earlier and kept the key on me when I left the house after so I could get back in". At no stage prior to this was I told that the entrance would remain locked all day and night. The manager also told me at 21.10 that I should not get him out of bed to let me in. At no stage was he polite and he made us unwelcome as soon as we checked in and throughout our stay. He appeared to not care about the way he treated his clients. Bed and Breakfast used to be Bed including Breakfast - he told us as soon as we met him the costs of breakfast in a manner that was unwelcoming and that was all he seemed to care about telling us.
With stunning views of Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps, Ben Arthur's Bothy Luxury Flat provides stylish accommodations around 2 miles from Loch Lomond.

Our trip was interrupted by a flat tire prior to the checkin time. The repair time was much longer than we expected so when we got to the property, the manager was gone. We finally got some help from someone in the bar as the apartment is located above a pub. The best thing about the apartment was the cleanliness and organization of the apartment. It was a cold and rainy day and the unit was cold. The rooms did take some time to warm up but they did reach a tolerable temperature. It was just past dinner time, but the pub stated they had no food availability. That seemed very strange. Separate owners? We had 2 less people than we had hoped so the extra bedrooms were not used. We left about 8 the next morning, so no office or breakfast area was available.

Lodge 37 is a beautiful, luxury lodge in the banks of Loch Lomond.
We can not rate it highly enough.
Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, as we were walking the West Highland Way, but we wished we could have stayed longer.
We didn't get a chance to fire up the BBQ or sit around the fire pit or even use all of the lovely cooking gear.
We just used it as overnighter and it served us very well.
Be ate next door in the Ben Arthur Bothy . We ate there the first night and the food was so good we went there every night.
Visited Helensborough submarine museum, Loch lomond sea life centre and birds of prey centre, Cruachan hydro power visitor centre.
We had a nice walk around Arrochar.
We wished we could have avoided the Rain "Ha" ( nothing to Avoid)

Lovely town.
Lovely town. Pretty remote, but has a couple bars/restuarants and coffee shops. A general store.
Stunning views in all directions. Right on the water's edge
Buses go to nearby towns and easy to explore Loch Long and Loch Lomond.
Train station nearby
Multiple places to stay, not too expensive.

It was clean and comfortable.
It was clean and comfortable. It was difficult to find our room , up and down 4 flights of stairs, poorly signed. Got lost a few times. A bit of a rabbit Warren, tbh. The entertainment was good. Parking ok. The meal was tiny, not enough for a toddler, let alone an adult. Avoid eating there.

The Hotel was right on a Loch which was great, not far from Loch Lomond.
Calling it a Bespoke Hotel is right, needed an upgrade very tired, and not good value for money. Staff was mixed bag too.
We were only there for 1 night, and that was enough, and it was raining outside, so nothing to view

Hotel setting is very picturesque.
Hotel setting is very picturesque. Staff was great and very friendly. Massive credit to the chap on reception / booking in, super friendly and top advise on the area. Also spent his own time after work doing a quick go on bagpipes which really made it for us. Really deserves a mention and credit to the hotel.
The room was cosy, the view of the cobbler and Arrochar alps was amazing across Loch long.
The bed was comfortable and clean, and the TV was of a high quality.
One of the major things I liked was the quietness of the room, there were guests next door on both nights and I still heard nothing. I was able to get a great rest between hiking days which made such a difference.
Delightful cottage in village centre. Room was lovely and cosy with views over Loch Long. Friendly hosts and great breakfast. Only here for one night on way back home from further north. Had visited Arrochar previously for a longer stay in a different establishment but when I return to the area I will seek a room at Rowantreebank.
The location was excellent for hill walking routes, and the room was clean. The view from the room was stunning. Facilities we excellent entertainment was very good fantastic hotel staff were excellent and friendly.
Nice atmosphere. Light airy clean room with beautiful view. Nice dinner. Was pleasantly surprised after reading all the poor reviews. We liked the hotel. Would come back
The hotel offers a good base to visit loch long and loch lomond. Breakfast is rich; the restaurant and bar offer a good choice of food and drinks at reasonable prices.
