The Leddie, hotel in Aberlady

Set in Aberlady and with Aberlady Bay Beach reachable within 600 metres, The Leddie offers a restaurant, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar.

Clean, comfortable, freshly decorated (apparently only opened last summer); fixtures & fittings in excellent order & of the very highest quality; likewise things like linen, shower gel, coffee, home made shortbread in rooms etc. Dinner in restaurant excellent; service efficient, skilful and friendly. Front of house staff welcoming, efficient, friendly & above all, very kind when an older member of our party got into mobility difficulties. Had slightly feared we’d be told, “we’re not insured for this kind of thing” but the staff member (Siobhan) concerned could not have been kinder or more understanding & helpful. Breakfast excellent. The whole thing was a brilliant experience for us. Cannot rate the whole place highly enough.

From start to finish the staff could not do enough to help us, they were extremely welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The inn itself is lovely, and the food was superb. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great too, all in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again. The location is great too in a picturesque little village. 5 stars! Thank you so much to the team for all your hard work.

This beautifully refurbished hotel has a tasteful style with excellent staff, all of whom were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. This is a lovely, old pub/hotel with many quaint features. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent! The staff in the bar and restaurant were really friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was superb. Good selection of beers and a varied menu meant plenty of choices for all age groups. Will certainly stay again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although things are older, everything was clean and in good working order. Things in the room were replenished every day. The downstairs pub and restaurant is convenient and high quality. The food comes quickly and especially the seafood I found outstanding. They offer a large breakfast that I could not finish, but excellent quality. The beer garden in the back was not visited but it looks very nice.

A beautiful cottage, very clean with lots of space , log fire and was furnished to a high standard. The views and the grounds were amazing and we had plenty of walks and visits to the nearby beaches and nature reserve. We visited nearby North Berwick which we loved . This holiday was ideal to suit generations of people as we had our daughter and granddaughter with us.

Everyone at the hotel was friendly and courteous. The food in the main restaurant was a little disappointing but breakfast was good. We didn't play the golf course so can not comment on the course. We were a group of 6 and all rooms faced the golf course and sea beyond so views from the rooms were excellent.
