Christina was a wonderful host. She was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room and bathroom were spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean.
Breakfast, which we chose to eat outside, was delicious and included fresh home-grown strawberries.
Tours which was about a 20 minute walk away had many historical buildings, cafés and restaurants . We ate locally at an Italian restaurant which was about a 3 minute drive from our accommodation.
We would definitely recommend La Tour and would certainly stay here again if we visited this area.

the hall is stunning, the room decor is nice with a large comfy bed, good soundproof room.
Due to car problems we only stayed one night instead of two. Which was a great shame as the hotel is a lovely French house with period features. Great location, over the river from the centre of Tours but easy walk to restaurants, etc. Beach bar within 100 metres! The host was brilliant, very welcoming and sympathetic in regard to our travel difficulties.
