We really enjoyed our stay at La Grande Carreé, the warm welcome, the friendly atmosphere, the beautiful house and rooms. This a comfortable elegant home and we had a very pleasant stay. It has private parking and is also close to the tramline with easy access to the centre of Tours. Our hosts were helpful with information on the locality and attractions as well as restaurants. The breakfast was first class with an excellent selection.

Very convenient for one night in Tours. Very basic room, decent breakfast, good value for money. They looked after our luggage for the day we left.

I hope that booking will return all my money, because the hotel is 2 stars and it is a lie that it is 4 stars, I was very disappointed, I had to look for another hotel at 10 o'clock in the evening
Due to car problems we only stayed one night instead of two. Which was a great shame as the hotel is a lovely French house with period features. Great location, over the river from the centre of Tours but easy walk to restaurants, etc. Beach bar within 100 metres! The host was brilliant, very welcoming and sympathetic in regard to our travel difficulties.
