Very clean and organised had everything you needed and looked very well cared for. Very intresting garden and beautiful rural location. Host was very helpful on providing information on local area.
On the whole people were friendly. It is a pretty town I found a nice shop to buy pre-prepared meals but did not want to eat out as I was alone.
The architecture was interesting and walking around quite pleasant. I'm sure it is much livelier in the Summer months.

A typical French old town which we visited in late October...
A typical French old town which we visited in late October so very quiet and as it was a Monday nothing was open for an evening meal except McDonalds. I'm sure it is very lively in summer and the area around the square is attractive so it would not be fair to judge Ruffec on our experience.
