Our stay at the lovely La Roseraie was an utter delight, from reception, through dinner and breakfast the next day. It will remain one of our most treasured experiences of our recent trip.

Beautiful building that is very nicely renovated and decorated. We had an interesting experience. I didn't notice when we booked that the restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We booked a Monday night stay. After I inquired about other places to eat,the hotel gave us two recommendations for two nearby restaurants. Unfortunately, the day we arrived all restaurants in the village were closed due to a festival. Only open restaurant was a 30 minute drive away. We opted to go without dinner. The hosts were very very apologetic and clearly distressed by the situation. We received a complimentary split of champagne as a nice gesture. We booked breakfast the next morning which was very good. The server was quite charming and helpful. We enjoyed the salon which was quite comfortable and very beautifully decorated, and we are curious to return sometime when the restaurant is open. :)

Location, clean, kitchen area for four rooms to share which was completely stocked! Full frig and dishwasher, pans, tableware, etc. Plus there was a door to kitchen area to keep out noise. Great location right near the river that divides the town. Bars, restaurant, and Wednesday market just steps away from room. Loved our stay!

Ferme des Petites Oreilles 4 étoiles is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Montignac where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, open-air bath, and garden.
You need a car, but parking isn‘t easy. Unfortunately, I wasn‘t prepared, so I had to scout things out. Because my days were filled, I often left too early or came back too late to enjoy all the opportunities available.

Montignac is a pretty small town with a good range of resto’s and bars, as well as a small supermarket. It’s very attractive with some preserved buildings from the late medieval period and a wide range from the 17th to 19th century. There’s a canoe hire place in the town too. Overall a well rounded small town.

This is a lovely old town on a winding river bank. There are lots of restaurants, pubs, and little shops to experience and explore. The area has much to offer to anyone interested in anthropology, good food, charming people, and gorgeous countryside.

Medieval small town situated on a river. Canoes available for hire. Quaint shops and walks along the riverbank. Plenty of good eateries and coffee shops. Excellent accommodation centrally located too.

The owner of this hotel is very nice. He is secialized in prehistoric archaeology. So, when I consult about cave arts, he taught me a lot of knowledge and helped me to go to a cave.
The rood was clean enogh.
In the hotel, there is no wifi but he took me to another place which has wifi
Very comfortable hotel with a large garden and private parking. The owner Lydie was very friendly and helpful.
