The location. Located on top of the village, 2 minutes walk to the chateau and the elevator. The 10 minutes walk along the cliff edge provided nice overviews of the whole village. Easy on site parking.

It's a wonderful place on a hill. Ideal for hiking. Rocamadoure can be reached on foot. Checked in for a day but liked it so much we extended our stay for two more days. Would recommend

Clean and modern hotel, perfectly situated to walk to old historic town. (Quite steep) Lots of little shops with very friendly staff. Some traditional restaurants too, serving excellent French food.

Evening meal was unbelievably perfect. I was surprised that this restaurant did not have a Michelin star.
Breakfast was pleasant with good selection, and the room where it was served was exquisite.

The staff were exceptional. They were all very friendly and eager to help. We had a lot of alterations to our taxi bookings which probably drove them mad but they were extremely gracious and took it in their stride! The restaurant was also exceptional and once again the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pierre was also very efficient, pleasant and polite during our pre stay correspondence which added to our expectation of a lovely hotel. The air conditioning was also a delight as it was extremely hot!
everything was good, really loved the location for cycling. The hotel was very nice and comfortable with a great pool area. The breakfast was good and the owner was really nice and helpful.

We expected more from a hotel with 4 stars and a restaurant with Michelin quotation. The food in the restaurant was good, but not exceptional. nevertheless it was expensive ( price/quality not OK)
