The whole experience was perfect and obviously very different from my last stay in the Lou Calen in August 1997 when my husband and I were purchasing a house in Cotignac. The beds at that time were ancient and lumpy, the plumbing was dodgy but the food was good! All the people who have worked on this project for so many years have my heartiest congratulations, it’s very special! I shall certainly highly recommend it and I plan to return! Laura

Location was stunning in small but beautiful Cotignac. Right on the prettiest square + fountain where you could watch daily life from the french balcony. Jonny the host was a very friendly, practical and affable host. Felt like we made a new friend instantly though we stayed only one night. Spacious + everything worked fine in kitchen + bathroom.

Patricia was an excellent host and despite the language barrier we got on very well! She prepared excellent breakfasts and nothing was too much trouble for her. The pool is lovely although too chilly to use when we were there in mid September. We still enjoyed relaxing and reading on the sunbeds though. The accommodation is very new, set in large gardens on a very nice road and is in a really good location. Approximately a 30 minute pretty walk into Cotignac. If you can, go on a Tuesday for the excellent market. It is also driving distance for trips to many lovely places including the St Croix lake where we kayaked and St Tropez. It is a 10 minute walk to a good supermarket and also a great pizza restaurant.

Cotignac is a gem in the back country.
Cotignac is a gem in the back country. Close to many interesting places, the village itself is captivating. From walking the Main Street Cours Gambetta to venturing up the cliff faces to see the troglodyte caves, there is so much to do. One of the highlights was the sacred trinity church on the top of the hill. But the best part about the town was the delightful restaurants and staff. A wonderful place.

The location could not have been better. The appartment is located centrally in the beautiful little town of Cotignac right above local restaurants where you really can soak up the atmosphere of the town. I was greeted warmly by Laurence who helped me to locate a parking space and showed me the property. Having a fully equipment kitchen really gives you the convenience of being able to cook on those occasions you are not dining out. The appartment is immaculately clean and provides everything you need.
Marianne and Adrien were really flexible and helpful answering questions before and during the stay. The studio is clean, comfortable and a great base for exploring Cotignac and the surrounding area. The town is very pretty with all amenities and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.
Very clean and spacious apartment! Excellent location in the centre of Cotignac. Peggy was very helpful and very friendly. Kind enough to have pastries, coffee and wine waiting for us!
Our hosts were very welcoming & helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It's perfectly located with a few minutes drive to Cotignac & a wedding destination which was perfect.
