Nicely located in the center. Adequate breakfast with friendly staff. The rooms are good size and are well maintained. The bathroom was fine, but includes a bath that doubles as a shower, which is quite a high step down and therefore not easy to get out for everybody.

We had the chance only to visit the cathedral but what an extraordinary monument--stone arms rising up through to the light to seize the light above, a nave transporting and elevating, a choir of focused praise, and an inspiring array of medieval stained glass, intact and unblemished. What an experience of art and faith!

This is an historical city in the centre of France which dates from Roman times and has Roman and medieval features. We stayed in a studio apartment a 15 minute walk from the Cathedral. The free local bus service makes it easy to get around and there is plenty of free parking if you have to use a car. I was particularly impressed by the tea salon, Cake Thé which is situated in a vaulted former chapel. The chapel is built against a Roman wall tower which forms its backwall.

Beautiful, historic and interesting town.
Beautiful, historic and interesting town. The Cathedral is one of the finest in France (west front, vaulting ,stained glass) . The Jacques Cœur mansion with its magnificent sculpture is well worth a visit.

Dining out was a bit of a challenge without a reservation, eventually found a wonderful Chinese restaurant called the Sha Village, well recommended. During my stay I visited the Cathedral St Etienne at night as the light show there is a sight not to be missed if you're in the area. The small old quarter of the town is quaint and interesting also there is a marsh just outside the town that is worth the walk if you have an hour or two spare.

Bourges is a beautiful medieval city with a stunning cathedral and fascinating history. We spent 2 days there and enjoyed exploring the cobbled streets. The museums and shops were most interesting and the restaurants were excellent.

Bourges is easy to discover in one day.
Bourges is easy to discover in one day. Bourges has a magnificent cathedral where you could hike up to the top to see the city from above. Bourges is unfortunately going through lots of renovation as the city has been dying slowly over the last years... I am hoping the local government will make the right choices to renew the city and attract more tourists. It's a cute city after all!

We were using this hotel as a night stop from the South of France to Calais. The hotel was located CV lose to the motorway so was ideal for us. There are nearby restaurants that provide discount if you are staying at the hotel. Our room was a family room that gave us plenty of room for two adults and two children. Easy check in. Swimming pool looked nice but we didn't use it but we sat in the outside area by it having a few drinks in the evening. Good choice of continental breakfast.
Fantastic hotel and perfect for our stay on our way to South of France with our two children and dog. Rooms very clean and comfortable and we were given cutlery and glasses when we first arrived. Very calm stay and yummy breakfast. We are looking forward to staying there on our way home in 2 weeks!
