This is such a sweet town!
This is such a sweet town! The Faroese have voted it the best kept town and it shows. Fiskastykkið is a must experience - good prices, great food and cozy environment. There are great walks nearby, to Trøllkonufingur, along the creek that runs through town - including a little copse of trees! Great church with an historic rune stone inside. Awesome sculpture by beach.

Sandavagur has many picturesque locations, can be explored in a day. The church is beautiful standing beside waters and some trekking ways starts near it. I would surely recommend to visit this place.

An amazingly scenic village located in (personal opinion) the best of the islands (Vagar) of the Faroes. Would definitely recommend staying here over the much more dull and less green capital of Torshavn
