Suva Motor Inn, hotel in Suva

Built around a large outdoor swimming pool with waterslide and hot tub, Suva Motor Inn offers spacious accommodation in Suva city centre. Guests have access to a poolside restaurant and bar.

For the price, the location and facilities exceeded expectations. Our room was surprisingly spacious, with one double bed and two singles, giving us plenty of room for just the two of us. The shower head was also excellent, offering great water pressure, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. The bar lady was fantastic, going above and beyond to accommodate our requests, making the experience even more enjoyable. We held a family reunion dinner in one of their smaller conference rooms, which turned out to be the perfect setting for our intimate gathering.

Toorak Central, hotel in Suva

Situated in Suva, 5.5 km from Fiji Golf Club, Toorak Central features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

It's a pretty central location if you have a car, but there is not much around the hotel withing walking distance. The room was well appointed with everything we needed, good natural light and well designed. There are even USB charging outlets on each side of the bed. The staff were mostly super-friendly and helpful. The breakfast that was included was delicious and substantial, with good coffee.

Room was clean and comfortable. Located next to the city center which is a bonus but you might need to caught a cab to go out and the area can be quite dangerous at night, I won't recommend going out alone especially at night.

We knew ahead but went when Miss Hibiscus was on point and city was chocker blocks alongside many other big events that happen to be on at same time but that’s just suva coming alive during its peak of events. Traffic was crazy and town was full full .. just goes to show how much Suva has to offer in a good way.. but If you like your peace and quiet.. see what’s on in suva city before making your bookings. Weather is forecast as wet as always but hey, it’s Suva city.. such is life! Live in the moments

The main city centre with people asking for money was annoying. Brother was robbed by two young men when he was walking back up to Yatu. He’s 70 years old. We were there for purpose of erecting a tomb stone for great grandparents. Excellent help from birth deaths n marriages suvavou house, corrections officers for the cemetery and the Fiji National Archives library. The taxis were great.

Suva is very busy but a vibrant city.

Suva is very busy but a vibrant city. I heard lot of stories about robberies so be careful when travelling or shopping. Phone and bag snatching is common! But it can be fun if you are alert and careful.

The capital of Fiji has old colonial buildings which remain in use. The city is safe although the locals warn about pick pockets. The police made regular patrols. The harbour is beautiful while Thurston Park is full of tropical plants.Fijian cusine is not exciting. although there are plenty of curries of interest. Taxis are pleantiful and cheap. B uses require a stored value card.

The people of Suva are lovely, warm and welcoming.

The people of Suva are lovely, warm and welcoming. However there are not a lot of things to do in Suva and the harbour is not clean enough to swim in. The traffic congestion is surprisingly bad. We walked a lot, footpaths are in bad condition or not available. Places worth visiting are the museum, local market, handicraft market, Thurston Gardens (I was left wondering was that it!), watching locals play sport outside Parliament. For those interested in numismatics a visit to the Reserve Bank of Fiji is worthwhile. Best meal out was at Paradiso. Best outing from Suva was to Colo-i-Suva Forest Park

The last stay at the Eco Lodge and the Rainforest Park...

The last stay at the Eco Lodge and the Rainforest Park adjacent we visited changed my view of Suva - It's not just a city/capital. I wished the govenment would upgrade the roads inside the park, and make it a safer place for visitors especially at night.

Very professional and friendly staff, the facilities are as you would expect from a 5 Star hotel. Security is excellent, located in the centre of Suva (the complex is called Suva Central) just one draw back, if your room is facing Suva Harbour you will hear be hearing loud local music from the pub across the road, stops early in the evening and Sundays. Highly recommend this place.

Staff was very accommodating to all my requests and went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as it was. I was going to book an expensive hotel for my stay in Suva, but no rooms were available for my dates. It was a blessing in disguise. Not only was Island Accom inexpensive, it was ideal for my stay. Thank you to all staff especially Sharon on front desk.

We really liked the treat of the host, who was really kind and helped us as much as possible. The best part was the complimentary coffee and the good talk with him the next day, when he told us the best places to go in Suva.
