I esoecially liked that everything was as shown on the pictures - so no surprises

A fantastic historic little town on Mallorca. Visually stunning, well preserved and very clean. The municipality is doing a great job keeping the old town clean from all kinds of visual smog, e.g. aggressive or tasteless advertising and graffiti.

Enchanting town in spectacular nature.
Enchanting town in spectacular nature. The buildings reflect the strength and beauty of nature and there is a bit of everything including some classical music, a monastery, good food and of course if you enjoy being active there is cycling, hiking and climbing. The town itself is kept spotless and is very well organised for tourists.

Extremely busy with no car parking possible. We took the bus from the hotel-6 minutes -two stops,on the return trip we had to wait over two hours for a return bus which was totally full-one bus broke down and a hundred people were waiting-there was no indication of the start or finish of the queue so when the first bus came we didn't get on that due to excessive numbers. So more buses and a proper queuing system
Because of these reasons we will not be returning to Valldemossa.
THe rest of the island was grid locked no parking anywhere,we didn't go to Deia as there was nowhere to park and even small villages were grid locked.Majorca cannot cope with the numbers of tourists despite a reduction of 10%

The village of Valldemossa is one of the prettiest we've ever visited - cobbled ancient lanes and pretty artisan shops. There are lovely cafes and restaurants.
There aren't many areas to sit and relax or read in the village so you'll be restricted to going into the cafes. Not so bad though - the cakes are fabulous !
After a week you'll have walked down most of the streets and if you're staying on the island for longer you'll probably want to move to a different area.

Beautiful, well worth a visit - but touristy!
Beautiful, well worth a visit - but touristy! Some restaurants close down in the evening which isn't ideal if you're staying there (I guess because majority of visitors are only there for the day).
Also, word of advice for people travelling by car - it is very busy. Hardly anywhere to park, and if you do, be careful where you park! I arrived late at night, left the car in a central car park and realised it was a market the next day. The car was towed away! I had to contact the local police who were only too happy to release the car for a hefty fee!
But in terms of quaint, picture-postcard Mallorca, there are not many places better than Valldemossa.

Valldemossa was my favourite area on the whole island.
Valldemossa was my favourite area on the whole island. The town, restaurants and scenery were amazing. We stayed a week so we should have stayed 4 nights here and 3 nights at Cala D’or at the beach which was over a hours scenic drive since we were here late July and it was hot. Beaches were beautiful on that side. Still had a perfect week at Valldemossa which was close to Deià and Sollier which were another two beautiful towns to visit nearby.

The Hotel was right in the centre of Valldemossa making it very easy to wander out for dinner, drinks and the shop. Raluca was extremely helpful and always checked each morning how our day had been and if we needed anything.
No key access made it easy for late check in (which we needed) and one less thing to take out or too the beach.
Rooms are large. The hotel has a few viewpoints for sunset. I liked the fact that this is in between Deia and Valldemossa towns. Not too far from Soller also. Nice pool and walking/hiking areas nearby. Staff is polite and helpful. The dinner in the hotel also exceeded our expectations.
Very friendly and helpful Manu there :) Room was comfortable and clean, a kitchen is available. Beautiful and romantic streets of Valldemossa around the corner.
