Everything was great, the size of the room was enormous, fitting the two kids beautifully.
Nice breakfast, nice staff.
Thank you!
The room had a small KITCHEN (sink, stove, fridge) that I didnt expect, and was very useful with little kids for preparing snacks.

Stayed here for three nights in February while on my way to Puerto De La Cruz just to see what the place is like. I stayed Monday-Wednesday so I don't know about the nightlife as I didn't bother going out. During the day there are a lot of places to walk around the centre, but it very much feels like any other city. I wouldn't choose it over somewhere else in Tenerife. It's an upgrade compared to Ireland!

A compact city with a distinct cultural background of history, architecture, restaurants and cafes. Broad Rambla avenues, a very clean and efficient public transport system, interesting squares and parks, plus a fabulous beach a few miles away.
The Palmetum is also a top attraction in close proximity to the stunning Auditorio de Tenerife on the waterfront.

Our lodging for this part of the journey was Hotel Atlántico Centro, a charming little spot right on one of the main thoroughfares called Calle Castillo. Originally we were in Hotel Oceano, a joint owned hotel 30 metres down the road which was OK but stuffy. They are working on the addition of air conditioning. After talking with Deres, a polite, friendly and helpful desk clerk he moved us into Atlantico, room 402 which was great, overlooking the promenade. Little noisy late at night because of revellers returning from social activities but doesn’t last very long.
Santa Cruz is a nice little spot, occasionally busy from the cruise crowds but not overly so.
On our last full day we visited Mount Teide, an active volcano. Surprisingly it is the 3rd highest peak in Europe and one of its most popular destinations. It certainly lives up to expectations. Calling it amazing is not doing it justice, dramatic in a way only Mother Earth can accomplish. We humans can build but she creates. The trip up (and down) is challenging, sometimes downright scary since the roads are narrow and the cliffs vertical.
The landscapes are varied; from the barren & bleak, where the Forbidden Zone in Planet of the Apes was filmed, to the greenery of the pines as you ascend above the cloud layer. We had also booked the cable car to the summit of the volcano peak but windy conditions of 80km plus cancelled those plans. Too bad as it would have been spectacular.

Santa Cruz is amazing , closet to the port , bustling city, nice restaurants and very close to Bus Terminal and nice beaches few kms away however where we stayed in Tenerife Calle de Santa Rosalia ,it was on the quieter side we had to travel quiet a lot 1 hour or more via bus to get to the place where you can party or have all the activities booked at the South . The commute is difficult unless you have a car, its easier to stay in the south and plan all activities as staying at the north it was very difficult for us to plan our activities , we ended up spending so many hours just commuting . May be we should have planned better but always a next time .

Very beautiful hotel with a perfect roof top swimming pool and bar in the centre of Santa Cruz. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, the breakfast is delicious. I would like to say thank you for the Roof Top bar's crew, they helped me a lot to organise my proposal:) Thank you Guys! We will definetaly come back!
This hotel has good quality/price ratio, is located in the center of Santa Cruz and is clean. You need however, to count with the noise coming from the street and another thing which i didnt like was strong AIR PARFUME smell in the room. Even with open windows it didnt desapear.
The location is absolutely great, I liked this part of Santa Cruz, it's value for money, a nice single room. What I liked is that this hotel feels authentic, not a sterile resort hotel but something real Spanish/Canarian.
Bonus, that my room was far from the elevator.
Swimming pool and garden was beautiful , this is one of the top hotels in Santa Cruz perfect if you want to spoil yourself or want the best hotel to stay in before or after a cruise. Staff very friendly and efficient , and beautiful location
