Location is quite nice and the bus goes close enough. Not the best path there if travelling with big luggage, as the hotel is on a hillside and the curb is narrow. Room price was really good and the staff so nice. Reception gave me an advice where to go for a dinner and the breakfast staff was really friendly too. Value for the money is great but mainly because the price is low.

The balcony with a view of the sea was great. We had a three bed room. Lighting was horrible and it was starkly decorated, but thats what we paid for, and the view from the balony at Sunrise was worth every penny.

Everything was perfect. We particularly valued the location. Walking distance to the centre of the Island's capital with many nice restaurants (we recommend the Casino), and around the corner from a safe free parking spot.

My sister and I made this trip to visit the birthplace of our abuelo. We found the city charming with many good restaurants and shopping choices. I loved sitting at the Plaza de la Alameda to people watch amid the lovely palms and flowers. The black sand beach was stunning. We took took a tour to the Cumbre Vieja volcanic site with a side stop of The Virgin of the Snow church. A hidden gem! Our family name is based on goat - be prepared for some steep slopes but lots to see along the climbs.

We had previously visited La Palma in 2020 but stayed on the west side in Los Lllanos. Principally a walking holiday. Santa Cruz gave us access to different walks using different bus services - we do not use hire cars. Santa Cruz is a lovely town with plentiful supply of bars, restaurants and shops. Very busy when a cruise ship is berthed though. Good town beach.

Compact city, all on walking distance - though the further you get away from the seafront, the steeper it gets:)
Public parking is a bit cumbersume, but there is an underground parking for reasonable prices (eur 10,50 / 24 hr).

It was a good stay, the location is on top of the hill with a nice view. It requires a bit of physical exercise to go on top. The breakfasts were very nice with good choice of the continental and local dishes.

La Palma is lush green.
Ideal for hiking in the mountains, to see the stars, to swim among lots of fish.
The roads on the island can be very steep and narrow.

We had visited before & our friends had not. It's a lovely city. We used it as a base to drive around all of the island, but left ourselves plenty of time in the city itself. We had dinner all 4 nights at different restaurants. It is clean. We found everybody friendly. It's a walking city, with a long promenade, cobbled streets, lots of history.

This is an extremely pretty little hotel. The location is great (but mind the steps you need to take up in case you're not aware there's a lift), the staff is friendly and the beds and pillow are comfortable. Great patio as well. There is coffee, fresh water and fruits in the lobby which is really nice.
We stayed one night to catch a very early ferry at 6.30hrs. The hotel kindly provided us with a breakfast box to take away. We had a comfortable night's stay.
I liked friendliness and professionalism of all the workers. Since I'm in hotel business more then a decade, I'm paying attention in those kinds od things.
