    Ronda is incredible.

Ronda is incredible. The scenery, the cliffs, the atmosphere. There is the old town and the newer town. Both are worth exploring and it's easy to do on foot. There is a free park at the bottom of the old town. Only a few minutes walk uphill. The parks are beautiful, clean and peaceful. We had the best ice cream here and amazing tapas at Taberna El Almacén. Can watch the sunset, walk down to the viewpoint to see the magnificent bridge. Best coffee in town. Walk along the promenade, great clothing/shoe shops. Fantastic place to visit

We only had 24 hours in Ronda, which was not enough.

We only had 24 hours in Ronda, which was not enough. The topography is amazing, and there are several walks and hikes that allow you to see different aspects of the city, including walks that are easy for those of us in our 70s. Unfortunately we didn't have time to get to any museums, so I can't comment on that aspect of the city. I highly recommend the wine bar at the Hotel Palacio de Hemingway: great food and an amazing selection of wine with knowledgeable staff (and they also have a fabulous gin selection).

One night and day in Ronda is all you need, and we very much enjoyed it. There are several spectacular overlooks, good for viewing and photography. We took a walking tour which showed us the highlights of the town, and learned a bit about its history. A nice break was to visit Museo Casa Don Bosco, the (nicely preserved) former home of a priest who has been canonized. It is a beautiful place overlooking the cliff edge, bridge and valley, and we completed the day attending a guitar concert by an up-and-coming Flamenco guitarist, Carlos Perez.

Ronda like all of Andalusia is clean, organized and welcoming. The views are breathtaking, of course. The Arabian baths are exceptionally well conserved with a video that explains everything. One day is needed to explore the site and to take in 12 centuries of history. This is certainly one of Europe’s gems. Do not miss it if you visit southern Spain.

    Ronda is beautiful.

Ronda is beautiful. Stay in town and take advantage of the morning. Tourist buses from Malaga start arriving around 10:30. Things calm down again in the late afternoon. Coming on a tour bus, would be a much less enjoyable way to visit.

Very nice, well equipped and clean apartment in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to all the sights of Ronda. During winter, apartments in Spain can be a bit cold, but this one was not. Very good communications with the host who was very helpful and attentive.
