We opted for an upgrade of the room for a modest additional payment, to avoid the lowering of the roof, and we really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for our toddler to run around and a lovely balcony where we admired the most beautiful sunsets. The garden and the view are fantastic. The breakfast was excellent and room service was also enjoyable.

Plenty to do in terms of historical buildings and walks. Plenty of restaurants and local facilities even in December, The streets in the Old Town are a little narrow for large cars. Lovely views over the countryside.

One night and day in Ronda is all you need, and we very much enjoyed it. There are several spectacular overlooks, good for viewing and photography. We took a walking tour which showed us the highlights of the town, and learned a bit about its history. A nice break was to visit Museo Casa Don Bosco, the (nicely preserved) former home of a priest who has been canonized. It is a beautiful place overlooking the cliff edge, bridge and valley, and we completed the day attending a guitar concert by an up-and-coming Flamenco guitarist, Carlos Perez.

Ronda like all of Andalusia is clean, organized and welcoming. The views are breathtaking, of course. The Arabian baths are exceptionally well conserved with a video that explains everything. One day is needed to explore the site and to take in 12 centuries of history. This is certainly one of Europe’s gems. Do not miss it if you visit southern Spain.

Ronda is beautiful.
Ronda is beautiful. Stay in town and take advantage of the morning. Tourist buses from Malaga start arriving around 10:30. Things calm down again in the late afternoon. Coming on a tour bus, would be a much less enjoyable way to visit.

A 2 day visit is plenty to do the walks, find the paths and the stairways that give you all kinds of views of the cliffs and new bridge. These are spectacular sights. The trick is how to get a picture without any other human in it? Lots of places to eat, though did get a frozen pre-made pizza base with stuff on top to disappoint. Good paella though and breakfast sandwich at Bar Colon with a reasonable black tea to help it down. It's a bit of a tourist trap and we were there mid October and it rained at some point on each of the 3 days!! But that was fine. We visited the nearby "Cave of the Cat" which is worth a visit about 15km out of town.
The main gardens close at 10pm, ooops!

Absolutely loved Ronda.
Absolutely loved Ronda. Wandering round the narrow street in the old town is lovely. The bridge and gorge are amazing. The surrounding countryside is spectacular. Lots of choice for cars and restaurants in both the old and new towns. Numerous view points to take in the bridge, gorge and countryside. Highly recommend it as a must see. Easy to get found on foot. Getting a taxi can be a bit of a challenge but train and bus stations within walking distance.

Honestly, words cannot describe what this stay meant to my family and I.
Also, the design was amazing... It looks like it was Inspired by Philippe Stark.
Also, the greenhouse was out of this world. Our experience with the manager at the restaurant made our whole 3 weeks in Spain.
I know that soon, the price of staying is going to be very high. So while it's reasonable, do not hesitate.
The restaurant serves possibly the best meals in Spain. Simply delicious.
The location is very quiet and very close to Ronda, and very easy to find. No problems parking. Great artworks and decor. And the largest bed I've ever slept on.
