Casa La Quintana is superb in all respects. Our bathroom had a proper bath with plug! There are at least 4 bedrooms in the house, each with an en suite bathroom. Downstairs, there is a fully equipped kitchen, and a lounge / dining room. We had the place to ourselves. If the house was full, and all guests were wanting to cook, it might get a bit hectic.
The village of Oceno feels a world away from the bustle of Arenas de Cabrales, Poncebos and the Cares Gorge. Parking is easy. There are no shops. There is one (good) restaurant. Nobody speaks English. There is no wi-fi or phone signal. Awesome!

This is a lovely old hotel at the top of the old town, an easy stroll down. The dining room is stunning and breakfast was available either as a menu or to select individual items from the menu. Very tasty each time. Comfy and quiet at night.
There are a number of restaurants within a short walk.
Hotel Sablón is located on a cliff, with direct access to Sablón Beach. It offers well-equipped rooms with fantastic sea views, private parking and free Wi-Fi.

Wonderful room. but the whirlpool tub didn't work. test it together with the homeowner. once you're in it, it's too late 😉
Splendid value, and great location. The owner was very nice and talkative, and advised us throughout our stay. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. The hotel has a small car park, but even if that's full, there was always some parking place to be found on the street, even in August (but depending on the hour, of course).
The location was perfect for exploring some of the most beautiful parts of the Pico de Europa park. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was great and the dinner set menu was excellent value. The room was comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this hotel for the price and location.
The room was very comfortable and the restaurant of the hotel was exceptional!! The food was delicious and homemade, definitely recommend! The hotel was also super conveniently located at the start of the ruta del cares, making it an amazing place to stay if you are interested in hiking.
