This is an amazing Hostal located at the bottom of the valley and only a short walk to the beginning of the Ruta de Cares walk. Parking is on site. The rooms are clean and comfortable with shared bathrooms. Breakfast was provided by very friendly and helpful staff and was excellent.

Great location. Clean space and free parking. The option to turn up for breakfast without prior booking the night before.
The location was superb, just below the start of the outstanding Ruta de Carres, in a winding valley with towering cliffs of limestone and the river rushing below. Ideal for exploring this amazing area.
Room was simple and comfortable, a spacious hotel lounge with a restaurant, bar and outdoor activities shop.
The star however was Manolo, the effervescent, warm and generous host for whom nothing was too much trouble.
It's the perfect place to stay in Poncebos! It's lovely location close to the funicular train station and starting point of hiking trails. Friendly owner, helpful staffs, and very clean. They change towels everyday and replenish soap/shampoo daily. I have a room overlooking the Río cares. Fulfilling foods in the restaurant with the best views... This is a place I will return to stay! 😊
The room was very comfortable and the restaurant of the hotel was exceptional!! The food was delicious and homemade, definitely recommend! The hotel was also super conveniently located at the start of the ruta del cares, making it an amazing place to stay if you are interested in hiking.
Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Perfect location to walk the Rutas del Cares as the hotel is located at the start of the trail. Very comfy beds. Piping hot water in the shower.
