This hotel is beautiful. The view to the castle is amazing. The rooms are dated, kinda Old Workdish, but I guess that was part of the charm. The room was on the smaller side. The bed was OK, but they provided only two pillows and they were horrible. Luckily, they brought us two extra ones, no duvet or comforter either.. electric outlets in just one side of the bed, TV with local channels only. Mini fridge and safe. The bathroom was comfortable and it had a bathtub, bidet, and a towel, warmer and a blow dryer with toiletries.AC worked well. The premises were gorgeous, a nice coffee shop/bar and a very nice restaurant. We got our room with breakfast, and the breakfast was very nice, and they always brought me my gluten-free bread. We also had dinner one night there, and it was excellent, and they brought me gluten-free bread as well. The view from the room was to the castle.. they had only one lady working the front check/in and she obviously was overworked. She couldn’t provide much information about the area, and told us twice that they didn’t have Maps and we should go to the Information kiosk in town, and to be honest, we were very disappointed. The location of this place is great, you could walk to town and to Bodegas Protos and drive to the wineries in Rivera Del Duero, for the castle, you have to drive up. you need to make a reservations for the wine tasting and tours in Protos, and since the town is so small, make sure you make reservations for dinner in one of their restaurants, which the front desk lady helped us make reservations, and the dinner was amazing. We didn’t use the spa or the pool. But it was kind of chilly..There is parking for an additional fee.

This small famiky ran hotel is located in the midst of the Ribera del Duero wine region. The family also runs the winery Bodega Sarmentero located in the same location.
As special service the hotel can provide a lunch box with all kind of local cheeses and charcuterie. A bottle of wine makes the box complete

Superb atmospheric experience in an old, old castle that has been very well updated...including an elevator!! The room was nicely sized and well appointed. The bathroom also very modernized. The food at the restaurant was exceptioonal.

The city is very small but has an impressive castle nested in the nearby hill A good starting point could be walking this hill up as parking facilities closer to the castle entrance could get jammed. The historic city centre has one or two nice "cervezarias" where you could mingle with local people and have a beer with bocadillos. Alongside N-122 which is the local road that passes trough the city you will find several wineyards

Comfortable beds. Perfect hotel for staying if you are attending to a wedding close by.
Maria del Carmen G. Was very helpful and attentive. She brought me an iron from the laundry room because the front desk couldn’t gave me any (there’s only 2 in the entire hotel and she didn’t know where was them)
Hotel, staff and restaurant was perfect. Spotlessly clean and made to feel welcome. We must say - the restaurant was amazing and would recommend to anyone. Thank you.
Fantastic and modern hotel with great views to the castle. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast! Easy parking right outside the hotel
