The area surrounding it is outstanding - beautiful scenery, idyllic little villages and extremely tranquil. Frias is particularly worth a visit and the drives suggested by Dora, the excellent host, are well worth taking.

Great base for exploring the mountains and the local history. Plenty of hiking trails for all abilities. In the evening the tourists have left for the day so you can stroll through the streets as if it was a ghost town.

I wouldn't stay here as a holiday destination but as a stop over on the way to the ferry it was perfect. The hotel was right on the main road but the traffic was light and stopped at night and there were eagles circling the hill opposite. There was a car park nearly opposite. The main square in Ona was quite nice with an enormous monastery. Not a place you'd want to spend much time in unless it was as a base for day trips.
For a 3*, it's a lovely Boutique hotel. The drive in from either direction is great and from where we were at the front, nice views of the mountains.
It's a busy hotel with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Very relaxed attitude from the staff. Would stay again :)
Beautiful accommodation in a lovely old building opposite a monastery. Ramon the owner could not have been more helpful - he served us a lovely dinner one night even though the restaurant was closed - thank you Ramon, you are a very kind man!
I was allowed to keep my bicycle inside the property in the reception area. The owner gave lots of information about places to eat in Ona, and provided a map of the town.
