very close to the beach, good location, shop and restaurants, garden, grill and two parking lots, room cleaning and fresh towels every day, all photos show the property. We had a room on the garden and it was ok, the second room on the parking lot and another facility - this one was so-so. Mostly Spanish people around. Beautiful smile of the lady at the reception.

The (auto) check-in procedure was smooth, filled the details, received the code to open the door. Spacious bathroom. Extra powerful hairdryer (a tip: you can use it to dry your clothes which you will probably need if you visit Noja). Location: 1 min walk from the bus stop, 10 min maximum walk to the beach. And the beach (spectacular, especially at low tide) is your reason to go to Noja. Places to eat: bar La Cantina (just opposite the bus stop), Cafe Cantábrico (good hamburgers, 5 min walk).

Borja, Lorrena, Fernando and Diego (barman - not his real name) were fantastic staff members at Hotel Olimpo, so friendly, welcoming, helpful and fun. Food was amazing, hotel was immaculate with beautiful views.
Amazing location, lovely walk across the beach to Noja. Isla is lovely with quirkly little shops and nice walks. I stayed here with my husband and teenage son and all three of us had a fabulous time and look forward to returning. Was great to kick back and slow down from a fast paced life back home to a relaxing break in Isla.

A few tourist shops and a supermarket...
But no one sold isla stickers!!.

Isla is a lovely place.
Isla is a lovely place. We stayed a Saturday night and it was very lively. Good vibe in and around town. Very busy but not noisy and felt very safe. Would recommend the area but not the hotel we stayed in, Hotel Astuy. We stayed here as it’s only a short drive to Santander for the ferry next day

The sea is lovely but usually too rough to actually swim, just enjoyl the waves.You can also bathe in the river. It is unusual to have both river and sea next to one another.
Isla itself is a really nice place, a variety of shops and restaurants and a good place for an evening sea front walk.

the danger is what we like may not suit everyone. suffice to say we keep returning to Isla Playa for the past 25 years often staying at the Olimpo & or the fabulous campsite ~ full on Spanish with noisy neighbours huge families ( we have counted over 10 on the next pitch) at the far end of the village,( We are Campervanners) as well as frequent hotel guests. There are 5+ excellent sandy beaches with safe swimming even for children
The most stunning view from a hotel we've ever had! We were in room 117 which is the first one above the dining room extension. The black out blinds were very effective. Location couldn't be better. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.
Property was in excellent location . Apartment was basic .wouldn’t like going in summer months no AC . Was no kettle or toaster . Over all it was basic plenty of room for parking ,
Hotel was very clean and bedrooms were a good size. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was amazing! Overall, great value for money, comfortable stay and very friendly staff.
