El Prat de Llobregat is a name familiar to all those arriving in Barcelona by air, as it’s the site of Barcelona Airport. The thousands of passengers who take advantage of cheap flights from low cost airlines and international carriers pass through one of Europe’s busiest passenger terminals.
Many head straight for the Catalan capital via the on-site train station and end up missing the attractions of El Prat de Llobregat itself. A golf club covers the narrow strip of land between the airport and the sandy, Mediterranean beach which extends all the way to Castelldefels in one direction, and the mouth of the Llobregat River in the other. There is also a nature reserve which offers views towards Montjuic hill.
Also set by the river in the foothills of mountains is Sant Boi de Llobregat, whose skyline is dominated by the belltower of its simple church. Excellent location, 10 minutes from/to the airport by Metro, absolutely clean, spacious and well equipped.
We visit this place regularly when we go to Spain, and staff was always kind and helpful, excellent service, good breakfast, we never had any objection.
It costs more than AirBnB (not a lot more), but it should be known that the hotel is oriented towards ecology, optimizing the usage of resources (especially water), using the energy of the sun, and with all that in mind - guests still have maximum comfort and everything they need. The hotel is owned by a non-profit organization, employs a lot of people, and we always choose to help them by choosing them as hosts for our stays in Barcelona, rather than go for the cheapest option.

Lovely fresh space, great breakfast. Lovely clean spacious room with all the amenities you could want. Staff are very friendly and helpful all spoke excellent English which made up for my embarrassing lack of Spanish. The bonus was the hotel shuttle bus top the terminal in the morning, make sure you book it on arrival the night before though.

Not easy to get too, about 15 min drive to Terminal 1 in the free shuttle bus.
Bar and food prices very high compared to regular restaurants and bars but they have you as a captive audience with no alternatives near by!

There is a metro which connects it with both so it's ideally located and the accomodation is much cheaper than in the city.
However parking is a real challange.

Perfect for overnight stays or longer. Not walking distance from any stores so you would need to take which is somewhat off a disadvantage if you wish to shop or visit the local restaurants. However there is a restaueant at the hotel

A quite excellent hotel 10 minutes from the airport and a 20 minute train ride from Barcelona City centre.
The staff were more than welcoming and helpful, the rooms large and clean with a huge super kingsize bed, great bathroom and shower and a 5* breakfast......and all at a super rate. Thank you Salles Cuitat de Prat for making our stay memorable.
NIce hostel with friendly helpful staff in quiet El Prat, which is near to Barcelona airport. Cosy bar next in a coartyard with nice music. Informative staff at reception that are willing to help you out with anything. Convenient if you need to get an early flight.
Really helpful a reception opened till late night, and a location is close to BCN airport. I arrived at Barcelona around midnight, but I could find the hotel easily (by taxi) and the reception was speedy.
İt is quite cheaper than other hotels İn Barcelona. İts 10 mins walking distance from the nearest metro station. I wouldnt like to stay more than 1 night because shared bathroom is a bit off for me
