We couldn’t fault our stay at Avanti! Beautiful small hotel right on the harbour side. Our room was pristine, and a lovely space. Well sound-proofed to ensure a good nights sleep! Staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially Sol! We loved the small touches in our room too. Indulgent robes, high quality toiletries and a coffee machine in the room!

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, like Chris Kitchen and others. There’s a gym, but since the accommodation is private, it costs €60 for 6 days. It would be much easier if you rent a car, as apps like Uber don’t work here, and taxis are also difficult to get.

We like Corralejo and come here twice a year.
We like Corralejo and come here twice a year. It is very quiet which suits us. We like the heat and the restaurants. One bad point is that the footpaths away from the town centre are badly maintained. Manhole covers above the level of the paths amongst the problems. We like the beach. We mainly walk around town.
Anyone into water activities would love this place.
The blue rock bar is quaint and friendly.
There is a Tapas restaurant around the corner from that bar and it's very good.

Ideal place to stay in Feurteventura because of the close proximity to El Cortillo and Porto del Rosario which can be reached by bus. Lanzarote is 45 minutes away by ferry. Everywhere in Corralejo is within walking distance, though there are plenty of taxis too.
There is a long sandy beach for surfing and kite flying. Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. There is plenty to do, we were never bored! There is a shuttle bus from and to the airport which takes approximately 30 minutes and is very cheap.

We have been visiting Corralejo for over 20 years and have always enjoyed our visits there. Over the years there have been a lot of changes which are mostly for the good and enhance the town. There are always overheads when you increase the footfall , but this is not exclusive to Corralejo. The most major setback for Corralejo , I believe, is the cycle /scooter lane in the middle of the path in the main street . This has a 5km/hr speed limit, which is blatantly ignored. Only twice have I seen helmets. This is a serious accident waiting to happen , particularly for young and elderly. Despite these shortcomings, Corralejo is still friendly and welcoming and a very enjoyable place to visit.

Great place. Beaches are excellent.
Great place. Beaches are excellent. Bars, Cafes and restaurants galore. Enjoy the Music Square in the old town with live acts every night. Good shopping with many high street outlets on the main strip and the large shopping centre. Prices are reasonable with a lovely steak dinner for around £20 odd quid. Lots of British pubs and restaurants with a nice cooked breakfast for under a fiver. Great range of accommodation from small apartments to large villas and nice hotels. Very good tapas and fresh fish restaurants around the harbour and old town areas. Hire a car and get around the island. El Cotillo is 25 minutes away. The capital, Puerto Del Rosario is about 35 minutes along the motorway. There are frequent ferries over to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote, £35 return. A couple of things to look out for are the people on electric scooters bombing along pavements and pedestrianised areas. And the usual overpricing shenanigans of the Asian shopkeepers selling fake and dodgy goods. Also keep in mind that most of the out of town beaches are naturist friendly and bare bodies abound. Especially at the beaches around the national park and sand dunes. This is the windsurfing capital of Europe and can be rather blowey at times. The month of September is much calmer though. We have visited Corralejo loads of times over the last few years and it's the only place we've been where the wife feels totally safe walking around at night. Fuerteventura is the quietest of the Canary Islands and the local economy took a real hammering during the last financial crisis. But it's back on the up with new developments around Corralejo and elsewhere. Enjoy!

Location , location, location...and value for money. It was also spotless and had everything an apartment needs. Air-con was essential and very good. The hosts were charming and very helpful. I scored the facilities a star down because this is not a full service hotel. HOWEVER, within 100 metres of our front door were at least 6 pubs (most serving great food) and 3 of those were on the beach!!!. The beach is 15 steps from the front gate. Main strip 1 minute away and the old town begins about 4 minutes away
Everything is great, 5 stars :-). The accommodation is nicely decorated, has everything you need. I was here for kitesurfing on Fuerteventura, you can quickly reach all the spots by car.
Javier, is very helpful and nice, I didn't miss anything, I would love to come back.
The perfect spot to visit Corralejo. Great apartment has all the things you need with a nice balcony and huge swimming pool. Highly recommend when visiting Fuerteventura.
