The apartment is like in the pictures, very homey. Everything was clean and with all the equipment you need for a comfortable stay.
The Nespresso coffee maker was a plus. The wifi works wonderful by the way.
Easy to park outside in the street.
At night it was very quiet, we slept very well.
Montse, the person who manages the property is very friendly and helpful.
We will definitely repeat next time we are in the area.

The area is quiet and well connected to the highways. The host (Marta) gave us good instructions how to collect the keys and get into the apartment (we arrived late at night due to the delay of the flight). There was plenty of room and more than needed beds for our party. It was easy to find the parking space in small alley just next to the entrance of the building. There is a big grocery shop in the same building, which offers fresh seafood in the morning. It is in a walking distance to the beach and we enjoyed a stroll to the beach and back in the perfect weather.

The beach was amazing, large, sandy, clean and not busy at all despite us visiting in July. We stayed on the edge of Calafell so there were not many restaurants nearby, but that was not such a problem for us as we mostly cooked our own meals. The beach walk is amazing.

Not the long enough to find out much about the place but it was out of season so a lot of bars and restaurants were closed.
It seemed to be a mid-market place with the very good beach and plenty of facilities.

It's a good location between Barcelona and Tarragona...
It's a good location between Barcelona and Tarragona connected to both by train (we have not used the train though) and by car. There are big grocery shops with plenty of choice. The beach is nice, although in April pretty empty (some bars and cafes are open though).

I rate Calafell as one of the best resorts along the coast.
I rate Calafell as one of the best resorts along the coast. Like the fact that there is no traffic between the seafront cafes and the beach itself. Compact town, but has everything you need. The ttown as a whole has a very Spanish vibe, not loaded just with tourists.

Calafell is an amazing town near Barcelona.
Calafell is an amazing town near Barcelona. It is kids and pet friendly. Perfect place for a family trip or a gateway, the gastronomy is pretty rich with seafood specialties. Shopping is open 7 days a week. International restaurants are also available.
You can visit all the beaches, an old castle, an Iberian prehistoric place, fisherman’s museum, Port Aventura the best theme park in Spain (40 min away), Aqualeon (water theme park) only 15 min away.

We are returning guests in Calafell because we like it very...
We are returning guests in Calafell because we like it very much. Calafell is in the optimal place between Barcelona and Port Aventura themepark. So when we spent too much time on the beautiful beach, then we go a sightseeing day in Barcelona (maybe Tarragona) or an exciting day in Port Aventura.
The access of Calafell is great by the short range train. (Tip: keep in mind that Spanish Railroad is not a perfect company, so plan enough time if it's important (eg. leaving to airport) and keep Uber app in your phone for emergency)
The aparmanthotel is situated about 60-100m from the beach. Very clean, comfort and practical apartment with small kitchen, the kitchen is a separate room so no problem with smells from cooking. All you need for cooking (incl.microwave oven) Perfect for family with baby/kids...the hotel arranged a babybed and a high chair for us. Comfort beds. So much room for all our things. Changing the towels every 2-3 days. We hope to come again.

The location was good for the price of the hotel, it was only 20 minutes with foot from the beach. There was a castle just 2 minutes from the hotel. And the staff was so friendly and clean, But they didnt really speak English.
