Very cozy place with a very good beach, restaurants and shops. Nothing historical near the sea (the castle is very far from the beach), but it's a very convenient town for resting. Even in winter there is life (unlike in Cunit and Cubelles where everything is closed and seems like nobody lives there in winter:) Love Calafell!

The beach was amazing, large, sandy, clean and not busy at all despite us visiting in July. We stayed on the edge of Calafell so there were not many restaurants nearby, but that was not such a problem for us as we mostly cooked our own meals. The beach walk is amazing.

Not the long enough to find out much about the place but it was out of season so a lot of bars and restaurants were closed. It seemed to be a mid-market place with the very good beach and plenty of facilities.

It's a good location between Barcelona and Tarragona connected to both by train (we have not used the train though) and by car. There are big grocery shops with plenty of choice. The beach is nice, although in April pretty empty (some bars and cafes are open though).

I rate Calafell as one of the best resorts along the coast.

I rate Calafell as one of the best resorts along the coast. Like the fact that there is no traffic between the seafront cafes and the beach itself. Compact town, but has everything you need. The ttown as a whole has a very Spanish vibe, not loaded just with tourists.

For a reasonably priced hotel, our expectations were met. The rooms were a little dated but not to the point of looking shabby or unloved. Everything worked, so that's all that can be reasonably expected. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The facilities, bar, restaurant and pool, etc were all very well managed and spotless. We are returning there next year,

The hotel is near the train station, the rooms were immaculates. we love the fact that we have paid only 30 euros to extend our stay instead of check in at 10h. we were able to stay the all afternoon and keep our cases in the room. we really appreciated the services and the staff is very efficient and helpful.

A beautiful recently renovated apartment in the middle of everything Calafell has to offer. An easy walk to the beach, bars and restaurants with parking nearby. Carles, our host, has made sure we had everything we needed.
