Stayed at this hotel for 4 days, but actually now would choose a longer stay. Great experience overall.
The room was spacious and clean, well maintained and with a balcony. There also was a fridge, a safe, very big tv, and a lot of hygiene items. The only item I would also prefer to have is a work desk. Overall I was very satisfied with the room.
The service was also nice. The room was cleaned very well and people at the buffet , swimming pool and reception were nice.
The location is great. Right next to the Cala with clean water. Also the bus station is close by.
The food was great. The best I had in the hotels so far. I prefered the half board. Each day the menu somewhat varied so I didn't get bored of the same food. The food was delicious and fresh, a lot of seafood, beef, pork, cheese, fruits, also good drinks.
Overall I was very satisfied with my stay at the Barcelo Aquamarina and would come back to this hotel again

Very tasty food! Excellent!!! Clean! Friendly personal. 5 minutes to the beach. But if you go to sleep at 10:00 pm stay at rooms near the pool. If you like to watch shows and concerts choose room near restaurants, you can watch shows from your balcony😍

For a relaxing holiday by the beach it's perfect.
For a relaxing holiday by the beach it's perfect. There are plenty of shops to get your supplies, or restaurants, ice cream places and places to drink depending on what suits your fancy. There are some activities you can do nearby. The only thing is that I found that if you wanted to rent a car you needed an international driving license paper (despite UK have agreements with Spain) as the Island car hires seem to expect this. But you can hire cars, bikes, mopeds, bicycles. The tours available are to other towns by boat, dolphin watching, horse riding. To get to Palma it's either about an hour by Taxi or 2-3hrs by bus with some changes so isn't the easiest to get about to the other side of the island without your own transport. Plenty of places to walk, however I would say if you have struggles with stairs/hills, it's not the best place to go as the accomodations dont have lifts, the beaches often have steps to them (not all but most) and so you may struggle at times.

They have everything, beach, shops, bus stop nearby. It is for those who want to relax and escape from big city life. You can reach many beautiful areas easily such as Cala Gran, Marina, or hop on a bus for a day out in Cala Montrago and visit the park over there.

Liked Santanyí market. Liked shops and bars in Cala Dor. Easy to walk around. Beach at Cala gran good. Not many other places to visit nearby. Caves are a long way away. Bars and restaurants seemed very expensive. Much same as uk. Vegan options poor. Not any soya alternatives to meat that I saw.

Extremely touristy, food and menu is the same at every single restaurant, and they are also very expensive and not great quality (most things are frozen as the menus are too long)
Drinks and cocktails are so overpriced too especially compared to mainland Spain.

The biggest plus here were the staff. They were fantastic, incredibly friendly and helpful. There were no airs and graces and spoke to you like a friend/family member rather than a customer, we loved that and you don't find it often enough in hotels. Everything else in the hotel was perfect, the food was actually really tasty (often find all inclusive can be a little bland) The rooms were comfortable and spotless and all the facilities were first class. We have already talked about doing back again
The location was fantastic - right on the beach with numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and dinner.
