It is a beautiful city with lots of historic places to visit. Amazing restaurants to try typical dishes and mainly the cheese! It seems difficult to access sometimes (mainly the old historic area), but taxis reach practically everywhere. Sadly, my trip was a business one and only for a weekend, but the city deserves more days to fully enjoy it!

Beautiful old city, lovely to just wander around.
Beautiful old city, lovely to just wander around. Slightly off the beaten track with not too many foreign tourists there, particularly in February. Speaking a little Spanish is useful. Would definitely recommend.

Carceres is a beautifully preserved old city.
Carceres is a beautifully preserved old city. The museum is very well set out starting with paleotonic times and there is no charge to go in.
I also loved the Arab museum - only a relatively small building but with some many distinct rooms and full of the everyday things that were used. A real house, not just a made to look like one.
Good ‘menu’ at the Colon Kiosk that’s around from the hotel.
Beautiful hotel. Beautifully clean, lovely helpful staff

Caceres was a highlight of a monthlong trip through Portugal and Andalucia. I would like to have spent three or four days there. There's a wonderful modern art museum in the Old City area. Do not miss a romantic nighttime stroll.

Caceres is a must-visit jewel in Spain's repertoire of fabulous historic places to visit. So many places to see but all in walking distance of the parador - Plaza de la Concepcion, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Santa Maria and the cathedral, Torre do los Pozos, the water cisterns and the Torre de Bujaco. All are wonderful sights to visit. Very easy to walk around and the Plaza Mayor has many restaurants and bars from which to choose where to eat.
The whole apartment which is bright and welcoming and the fabulous views from the two windows.
This was a rather special place to stay right in the heart of Caceres which is itself a delightful town.
We felt at home straightaway and liked the large sofa in the living room.
Thank you to Rosy who messaged us in good time about how to access the apartment. We really appreciated the clear communication with her re how to get the keys etc.
We're sorry that our trip around Spain meant that we only stayed for two nights here.
Excellent hotel. Very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Fabulous welcome from the young gentleman at reception.
Situated in beautiful grounds with walking paths and storks nesting. Perfect hotel for dogs, and we were able to have breakfast in a lovely pet friendly lounge room. Great food options.
Enjoyed the free spa hour.
On the outskirts of Caceres (visiting Caceres and Trujillo is a must) with easy access to the town, yet in a very peaceful location. Will definitely stay again!
The loveliest boutique hotel and staff. A gracious beautifully appointed room, luxurious bathroom, and the piece de resistance was the adjoining outdoor terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location, and the ambiance of this hotel. Lara, the concierge, went to great lengths to arrange a special tour for us in Caceres and assist us with parking our rental vehicle. This is a superb hotel with an excellent restaurant on site that serves a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!!!
Perfect location right in the old town and with parking! Parking garage was directly below hotel (elevator to hotel lobby) and had easy access, even for an SUV. Family room was enormous and very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
