For the price excellent. Breakfasts were very good. Staff were all friendly. All seemed to speak English.

Unfortunately in our period we had to tell the staff about two mistakes: when we arrived, we were given a very noisy room, and two days later it was impossible to get into the garage.
Errors can happen everywhere, the question is how to handle them.
Here, in a 4-star hotel, both problems were solved in a 5-star way. The room was immediately changed for us, and of course we didn't have to pay for parking, in fact, we received a small gift of ham and wine tasting as compensation.

Agape restaurant was lovely for a set menu of the day and Casa Rusu was great for steak in a quirky setting at the back of a Deli
The market is well worth a visit with a food hall to eat in.

Good place for a break.
Good place for a break. Food and drink are good and inexpensive. Getting around is easy. I would recommend getting a travel card on your visit, which can be used on all forms of transport. I also took a day trip to San Sebastian. It takes about 1 hour and twenty minutes by bus, costing around 10 euros each way. I would also recommend the bars in Calle Ledesma which have a lovely vibrant atmosphere.

We all loved the old city with its historical architecture shops, bakeries, bars and vibrant life. The Guggenheim was fascinating to visit great art and displays. We always felt welcome and safe and enjoyed our stay.

Excellent transport system. Very vibrant and friendly people. Delicious food ranging in price from cheap to expensive. Beaches and museums in close proximity so plenty of variety.

The hotel was right in the middle of the old town of Bilbao. Just outside there were many different bars and shops in every direction, you are spoilt for choice! Our room was clean and comfortable and for a budget room had everything we needed. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful which made our stay much easier. Although we didn’t have breakfast there, we found a great coffee/bakery shop a few doors along.
Great hotel in Bilbao. Fernando was so helpful - wonderful information with great tips for eating and sight seeing. His knowledge of the city was first class. The room was clean, comfortable and serviced daily. Shower had good pressure. Beds were on the firm side but not a problem for us. Location was close to the market and old town.
Location perfect for access to the Old Town with great places to eat & drink. Close to shopping district. Public transport is excellent in Bilbao. There is a tram stop across the road from the hotel. Perfect for getting to the main bus station
