Total scam. We got there at 3.30pm (check in from 2pm), all closed, no signs, nobody around, tried to call twice and they hanged up. After 30min we decided to book a place in Trevalez (24km away, the only alternative option) and pay €50 to get a taxi to pick us up as we were cycling. While waiting for the taxi the woman finally showed up, defensive, saying we said we would arrive at 5pm. Total lie!!! I asked her when exactly we would have said this and she couldn't find the email. Guess what, they never asked in the first place! By then we already booked another place and I asked for free cancellation (not sure how long she thought we would have waited, for ever?? For what I know she may not have even existed!). Her reply? No, because we didn't cancel within the requested time days before... On top of being incompetent and untrustworthy she is also conveniently stupid. We have now been charged. My only advice, go somewhere else!!! I really recommend the Hotel La Fragua in Trevalez, that village is also much better.
Location…simple hotel we have visited many times. Warm welcome and very friendly hosts. It is under new management and is understandably different from our previous trips but we were very comfortable as usual. We were given our favourite room which was a lovely touch. The food was generally very good.
Lovely Family run Hotel in a breath taking location. Delicious home cooked food, very helpful and friendly hosts. Very clean and comfortable room with stunning views from the balcony. Perfect.
Sheila and Alejandro were amazing. they made us lovely homemade soup and the room and hotel was clean, beautiful views and so calm and friendly. Highly recommend
Fantastic location with superb views of the mountains. Hotel run by a very nice couple that serves homemade meals in a cosy restaurant. Highly recommended.
