Gaudi's "Sagrada Familia" Cathedral is an absolute must-see. The trip to the Mont Juic Castle is well worth while. The area around the harbour is attractive and the Maritime Museum is spacious and well laid out. A good place for kids too!

This was the last of the 4 cities we visited in Portugal and Spain and our least favourite. We were robbed on the Montjuïc despite going to Barcelona totally aware of thefts etc. it was a physical distraction thing, not quite a mugging but close to. The best thing was the brewery tap bars of which there were many.

We were not sure that January was a good time for our first visit to Barcelona, but it worked out perfectly. The weather was mild, flowers are still blooming, and there were not as many tourists as in summer. It is extremely easy to get around the city on public transit (the Hola Barcelona travel card is perfect for transit fans). And there were more museums and Modernismo attractions than we could possibly visit in the 5 days we spent there.

Barcelona is a beautiful city in southern Europe.
Barcelona is a beautiful city in southern Europe. I definitely recommend visiting it in December, when Christmas illuminations await us everywhere. It is definitely a city for people who appreciate culture, design and architecture. You can feel good urban planning in it. The cultural offer is very wide and available, both free and with low ticket fees to important museums, galleries and facilities in the city. I definitely recommend visiting Barcelona for a few days if you need to recharge your aesthetic batteries.

The unit was easy to find and very convenient to shops and transport. It was a good size and we felt very comfortable, safe and secure. There was some traffic noise as the windows are not double glazed but this did not continue all night. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and tourist attractions.

I really recommend staying in this hotel in Barcelona.
The staff was really nice. Rooms have been cleaned everyday. Breakfast was really good. The hotel is really nice, modern and has o lots of pretty plants :) The rooftop with pool is awesome: The location is perfect, right in the city center next to la Rambla and metro station.
Barcelona is generally an expensive city and the price that I paid for this hotel was reasonable. Stuff was kind and helpful. The room was really clear. Hotel is not near to city center but there is a subway station near, you can go almost every where by metro. You should be willing to spend at least 30 min to go somewhere.
The room was very clean and the bed was extra large and comfy. The hotel is very close to the metro and bus stations which allows you to go wherever you want and also is near the city center. Very easy to arrive also from the airport (El prat).
Best choice!
Lovely hotel situated in heart of Barcelona. Rooms furnished appropriately to the age of the hotel. Especially liked how I could choose what type of breakfast I wanted and pay the appropriate price, indeed best breakfast I had in Spain.
Hotel is in a really nice and quite block, and not far away from city center. The room is big, clean and comfirtable, with very well organized every day by hotel stuff. We will absolutly choose this hotel next time in Barcelona!
