Barcelona is a beautiful city, great sites and great food...
Barcelona is a beautiful city, great sites and great food and great people. We traveled in December and were lucky with the weather which was cool and sunny. We were warned that Barcelona was unsafe, but never once did we feel threatened. You obviously need to avoid the not so safe areas and be conscious of your surroundings and belongings ( careful with wallets and not be flashy) but in most places there is ample police presence to make you feel safe. The tapas restaurants are exceptional (Try La Flauta Ramblas, Bar Lobo, Canete and Alegoria - all around 5-10 minutes from the Hotel). The Boqueria market is a treat. Avoid eating in the pop ups on the Ramblas. Overpriced and very average fare. Plenty of touts promising you a great experience which cannot be further from the truth.

My first time In Spain and glad I chose Barcelona . History, modern excellence, views architecture and of course FC Barcelona. I really wish I had stayed for longer than 4 days. Metro was possibly the best I've experienced in Europe. I also felt beyond safe as a solo traveller

I fell in love with Barcelona many years ago.
I fell in love with Barcelona many years ago. It is a very cosmopolitan city rich in diversity and culture. The food is amazing especially traditional Catalan cuisine. It is a city with a rich and interesting history reflected in the wonderful and diverse architecture. From the order of the l'Eixample to the mystical streets of the Gothic Quarter it is a city that offers the traveler an abundance of surprises. There is a warm welcome awaiting especially if you take the time to learn a few words of Catalan.
Magrada molt Barcelona i Catalunya especialment le gent.

The Eixample area is perfect for an off-season stay in BCN. I went mainly to see the now almost finished La Sagrada Famiglia, and it was truly magnificent even though I could do without the commerce around it

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Barcelona
Ideal if you want peace and quiet to sleep, away from the hustle and bustle and the masses of tourists in Barcelona— but you reach the city center in 15 min by taxi still, or 20 min with public transport (5 min away). Its not a standard hotel; all rooms are small apartments; studio or 1-2 bedrooms, with kitchenette and balcony. Very airy and larger than a normal hotel room, so you cant compare it. For the size of the apartments its a good value for money!!
Everything the staff were superb, everything was perfect. We got a taxi from the airport even the taxi driver told us it’s the best hotel in Barcelona, The bar staff were amazing with their cocktails and the front of house manger was fantastic she helped us get tickets for Gaudi church.
The staff was super nice, especially the male receptionist (Carlos?). The hotel is in a quiet area with many local people. Not too many tourists. It is a great place to stay if this is not your first trip to Barcelona. Easy access to the city center and beach with buses and metro.
Good place to stay in Barcelona for family with kids
Nice location , very close to the metro station - 5 min walk, close to city center - around 30 minutes walk or 15 min by metro.
clean room, a small market near hotel and a shopping center at 10-15 min walk.
Location was brilliant! It was right in the city center which made it easier for us to just walk around and experience the barcelona culture.
Hotel staff very helpfull and sweet. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
