This was the second time we stayed in Diamond. The location is great and overall it's a great combination of value and price. We also loved the Eel Garden View Restaurant that is few steps from the hotel.

I really really enjoyed connecting with other Egyptians and helping them learn English! I met wonderful people from all over the world and loved connecting with the other volunteers as well! Ahmed, the organizer is phenomenal at what he does and is so kind and accommodating as well, I always felt supported with him behind me! At the camp in Dahab, we had feee accommodation and organized beach clean ups and stray animal feeding which was so wonderful. I’m returning to Egypt in a month and will be participating in the same program again :)

Went to dahab for diving but was a bit disappointed by the lack of marine life other than corals and small fishes. Corals are great though and still worth it.
Wanted to kite but wind around Christmas was generally too low.
The vibe in dahab town center is real, people are friendly indeed. Very nice to wander around and spend time on sun beds at the seafront bars downtown. A handful of very good restaurants, you have to know.
Sinai is most amazing, recommend to go for a few days hiking

Snorkelling is excellent, with a nice backdrop of mountains. Great air quality.
Taxis are cheap but find a good honest driver as there are a few rogues about.

Dahab is not like any other tourist resort at Egyptian Red Sea - no skyscraper hotels, just small hostels and pensions. Beach is free and open to everybody - you don't have to pay any entry fee (contrary to e.g. Hurghada). Not so overcrowded as e.g. Sharm el Sheik. A lot of friendly street cats and dogs are all around, which I like so much. People here take good care of pets, which I also appreciate very much, So I love Dahab and would like to return here every year or even more frequently.

There are many things to do from water sports to visiting Mt Sinai. Easy access to Jordan too.
Although the beaches don’t compare to what we have in Australia, the water is clear and blue. There are numerous cafes and restaurants and the whole seafront is pedestrian only…….bliss

Dahab is a very unique place.
Dahab is a very unique place. You get to see more locals and the energy and vibe of the place are relaxing and it helps to renovate some energy. People are so friendly and completely different than other beach areas in Egypt. Small town with a main street with different restaurants that have entrance to the water.
Amazing place to reconnect with yourself through the sea and nature.

I arrived in the evening and was pleasantly surprised to find out that my room had been upgraded free of charge. I also extended my stay by two nights and was allowed to keep paying the same rate which was very kind of the Acacia team. All the staff were super friendly and the hotel was kept very clean. The Egyptian breakfast was good and very filling! The hotel was located in a quieter area of town, near a few dive shops and a short walk to the main strip.
Beautiful location, great facilities, food was wonderful and the team were all time. Mohamed, Abdo, Mahmoud & Moumen made us feel at home and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of not only for our stay in Dahab but for the rest of our time in Egypt - wow! We’re so grateful and appreciate their thoughtfulness, generosity and care. Thanks for everything!
Very nice hotel with a friendly staff. The location is great. Our reservation didn’t include breakfast but they gave it to us anyway. We were also allowed to keep our room several hours longer on our check out day, which we really appreciated. Dahab is a cool place. Highly recommend rock climbing.
Amazing hotel and great location. The staff is the most amazing personal we ever met. Very friendly and forthcoming. It was the best experience we had in Egypt. The breakfast was very good. On the locatin you can take a short hike to the hill to see the sunrise over the sea.
