Dahab is not like any other tourist resort at Egyptian Red...
Dahab is not like any other tourist resort at Egyptian Red Sea - no skyscraper hotels, just small hostels and pensions. Beach is free and open to everybody - you don't have to pay any entry fee (contrary to e.g. Hurghada). Not so overcrowded as e.g. Sharm el Sheik. A lot of friendly street cats and dogs are all around, which I like so much. People here take good care of pets, which I also appreciate very much, So I love Dahab and would like to return here every year or even more frequently.

Dahab is a great place to come after Cairo or Luxor. It is quiet, laid back and relaxing.
There are many things to do from water sports to visiting Mt Sinai. Easy access to Jordan too.
Although the beaches don’t compare to what we have in Australia, the water is clear and blue. There are numerous cafes and restaurants and the whole seafront is pedestrian only…….bliss

Dahab is a very unique place.
Dahab is a very unique place. You get to see more locals and the energy and vibe of the place are relaxing and it helps to renovate some energy. People are so friendly and completely different than other beach areas in Egypt. Small town with a main street with different restaurants that have entrance to the water.
Amazing place to reconnect with yourself through the sea and nature.

Honestly it was a bit unexpected. I had never been to a beach in an Arab country, but it was a very nice surprise. If you like scuba diving or snorkeling I believe this is a great place to go. It's not filled with resorts so that's really nice!

We love the Safir, it's our third time staying here and it's the best in Dahab. We come for the diving every year. It's a true 5* hotel in Egypt (we have stayed in a lot of places). Beautiful private beach that's really quiet with calm waters for swimming. The rooms are gorgeous bungalows with large terraces / hammocks with a view. We really enjoy the breakfast buffet with the eggs station and fresh fruit juices each morning. Special thanks to Chef Refaat and Nesma on reception for making our stay so amazing!

Lovely little hotel that made you feel relaxed from the moment you arrive, and made even better by its superb staff.

It was a simple hotel.
Egyptian and English breakfast were good.
The young man in the restaurant was so polite.
I think the hotel is suitable for families more than group of friends because, the hotel was quite and have good polices for families.
Nice short stay, with friendly staff, and very clean place. Cleanest I witnessed in Dahab. Close to the beach and to restaurants and convenient. With mini fridge and a kettle. And good breakfast too. Wi-Fi good for Egyptian standards.
Easily I can say the place one of the best in Dahab.
It’s really calm not far from the city, the hotel is really clean and the staff are super friendly.
