The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect for coming and going by ferry as it was right off the docks, it was also just outside the historic center, and as the construction around the hotel finishes, it will be right in the center of an awesome shopping and dinner district. The rooms were perfect, with a comfortable window bench, amazing beds, and a good bathroom. The lobby and relaxing areas around the hotel were great for lounging outside of the room, and the wifi throughout the hotel was very fast for remote working.

A beautiful old town and a very interesting modern city.
A beautiful old town and a very interesting modern city. Food is generally very good. It is more expensive than Mediterranean countries. There are generally too many tourists, many of them going round in very large groups. The history of Estonian is fascinating and its current political situation with Russian concerning.

One of my favourite places in the world.
One of my favourite places in the world. Unique, old, medieval old town with all streets being simply beautiful. While the winters can be harsh, Tallinn is beautiful in all seasons. You can also easily visit other countries, i.e. you can take the ferry to Helsinki or the bus to Riga. It is affordable, you can walk to most places, and people speak English.

Loved the fact that the old town sat next door to the new modern town. Literally crossing the road took you back in time. Very walkable town although public transport easy to navigate and fairly inexpensive. Lots to see and everyone seems friendly enough. As so close to other Baltic countries able to combine visit to these as well - we did a day trip to Helsinki on the ferry which was really easy to do.

I loved walking around the Old Town in Tallinn.
I loved walking around the Old Town in Tallinn. It was fantastic to see the restored medieval city walls still standing!
The city is quite small and very walkable.
I would recommend 2-3 nights in Tallinn as you may run out of sights, unless you rent a car or take a day trip out of the city.

The restaurant Olde Hayes was particularly enjoyable for the old merchants theme and food made in that era. Great experience for dinner here.
