Loved the fact that the old town sat next door to the new modern town. Literally crossing the road took you back in time. Very walkable town although public transport easy to navigate and fairly inexpensive. Lots to see and everyone seems friendly enough. As so close to other Baltic countries able to combine visit to these as well - we did a day trip to Helsinki on the ferry which was really easy to do.

I loved walking around the Old Town in Tallinn.
I loved walking around the Old Town in Tallinn. It was fantastic to see the restored medieval city walls still standing!
The city is quite small and very walkable.
I would recommend 2-3 nights in Tallinn as you may run out of sights, unless you rent a car or take a day trip out of the city.

The Old Town was great for restaurants, shopping and culture. The architecture was just gorgeous. The selection of restaurants was abundant for various cuisines. The restaurant Olde Hayes was particularly enjoyable for the old merchants theme and food made in that era. Great experience for dinner here. Definitely try do a walking tour with a guide it was very helpful with history of the country, buildings and people. They also usually have some fabulous recommendations.

We only had one full day in Tallinn but made the most of it by walking around the old town and exploring some of the churches and the streetscapes. Walked to the coast and discovered a fascinating concrete structure right by the coast. The old town is great to explore and plenty of great bars and definitely should try the local beer.
I loved this hotel! My room exceeded my expectations and I was so happy. It was so modern, beautiful and spacious. The toiletries were amazing, bathrobe and slippers, all the comfort you need in a hotel. The location is of course the best! It could not be better in Tallinn! The staff was nice, Ohla was amazing, and Kyril (I hope it's right!) too. I would stay there again. Thank you for everything!
