The ocean view was the best. Great location, near the beach and pools. There are a few golf cart shuttles that bring you back and forth from the restaurants on the property back to the beach. Food was good. Everything was clean. All staff was very friendly For a short stay the grocery store has a decent selection of food. And there’s also another grocery store down by Breathless. If Jumbo is the grocery store you’re looking for it’s very expensive to get there. It cost about $150 round-trip for taxi to get to Jumbo, Jumbo is like our local Walmart

Everyone was extremely friendly. Our greeting was amazing - cool refreshing towel and drink for each of us. Left our luggage and driven by golf cart to the Preferred Check-in Area, where higher end alcohol and snacks were waiting. The facilities, rooms, grounds and pools were beautiful. The beach was beautiful. Staff walking around all the time, asking if we needed anything, taking drink orders, cleaning up empty cups/water bottles left. Pool side entertainers did a nice job getting participants. Night time shows and entertainment were very enjoyable. The NYE party/show was FANTASTIC! So unexpected and loved the fireworks at the end! Always able to get cold bottles of water. The a la carte restaurants were very good. Really liked having "Preferred Status" to have an area to go for snacks and drinks, and get away from the crowd. Great coffee/drinks/ice cream/desserts/mini sandwiches at Coco Cafe 24 hours a day. Stayed in a swim out room. Pool was too cold for me, but if the water was warmer, would have really enjoyed! The kids ventured in a few times (but even too cold for them). The staff was extremely welcoming, worked hard, pleasant and really made the trip more enjoyable. Thank you.

The beach is gorgeous with nice waves. If you are coming from the Midwest, the waves may seem rough, but they rarely reach the intensity of Atlantic beaches of say New Jersey or Long Island. The buffet is as good as any in the Caribbean. In particular, the bakery produces an impressive range of goods including whole grain breads, pizza doughs and pastries. My favorite aspect of the buffet was the house cured sushi grade salmon served at breakfast and dinner. The French restaurant is excellent; the Mediterranean is terrible and the rest are mediocre and no match for the buffet—as is typical of all-inclusive resorts. The family accommodations are odd—the triple suites have two beds and no separation between the spaces. The kids club has great facilities but limited activity options. It is closed during lunch and dinner hours which means that the adults can never have a quiet meal by themselves. The staff are very nice, but the activity options are beyond limited—my daughter made 3 bracelets in 6 days and by the 3rd time they were running out of beads. The teen zone is hidden in the kids club and is set up to facilitate solo video game play rather than social interaction. The water park is an afterthought: 2 black enclosed slides and two open white slides one of which was closed over the whole Christmas week.
