This place is really great...staff extremely helpful and sympathic. Ultra clean and comfortable. Located on a hill (very steep roads but this is standard in Dominica) above Picard, the southern part of Portsmouth city. View is amazing on the bay.
Top WIFI and good breakfast. Small refreshing swimming pool.

Portsmouth is closer to the airport than Roseau. But, still a one hour drive from the airport for 80 U.S. dollars. There were no fancy restaurants near the Portsmouth Beach Hotel and only one bar that is a karaoke bar.

Steven and the entire staff made my stay in Dominica a pleasant and special time! Everyone at the hotel was caring and very helpful, no matter whether it was about suggestions for daytrips, phonecalls or appointments, providing any information or help that I needed.
Breakfast was delicious, everything was freshly prepared and I got some extras for free.
There are interesting sights near the hotel, like Indian River, Cabrits National Park, and beautiful beaches.
I would definitely like to go there again!
The hotel met all expectations. The property is gorgeous and the room was extremely spacious and comfortable. I really loved the double rain showers and bathtub, as well as the modern elements. Had a restful night's rest and didn't want to leave bed. Breakfast was included and also another highlight of our stay. Staff were also super friendly and helpful.
