Very quiet, comfy and clean room! The food served for dinner is really really good, we can highly recommend it, the ingredients are sourced locally and the quality is excelent. If you wager wether to eat somewhere else or at the hotel, definetly consider the hotel!

The views were spectacular when the weather was clear. This is the second time that we have visited and bad weather has prevented us from getting to use the bridge and trails due to snow and ice closures each time.
I would recommend visiting outside of the snow and ice season, if possible.

Schwangau is actually right at the foot of the mountain.
Schwangau is actually right at the foot of the mountain. It is the closest, walking distance, to the base of the castles. Not touristy like Fussen. Some of the nearby B&B’s also served dinner, if you didn’t feel like driving to town. Town was about 2-3 miles away. This location might not work if you don’t have a car, although there are regular buses.

For me it was the best trip I have ever got. I was also lucky to go in this season Automen, the area is like a paradies. People are kind , services all around. the only thing is the company for renting cars was not available. there.

We spent the next day visiting the castle. There were a lot of tourists, and the tickets for the castle were booked out.
We came to show the kids, but probably wouldn’t have gone to the top if it was just my husband and I.
Lots of overpriced gift shops, and very much geared for tourism…

Beautiful hiking trails. You can walk to town and Neuschwanstein if you are in good shape. Much better than trying to find parking. Beautiful views. I would recommend going late in the evening as there is not that many tourists.

Neuschwanstein is without a doubt one of the most beautiful castles in the world. We stayed for a day to visit both castles, but wished we had stayed longer to see more of the nature around it as well.

Our experience at the hotel was truly special. We were celebrating our anniversary and they had prepared a note and some macarons to welcome us in the room, which was a really lovely touch.
Our room in the Jägerhaus had a view of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, which made the stay even better!
The location could not have been better for walks to the castle and its surroundings.
The pool facilities are lovely and so relaxing - perfect after a long walk!
I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are very clean and cozy, making me feel like at home! The location is really good, you can walk to the castle or the old town in 20 mins. There is also a bus stop nearby, you can take free bus with your guest card. Artur is really kind, he picked us up at the Füssen station. He introduced the facilities in great details and recommended us good restaurants. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends.
From the balcony and even one of the beds, the castle Neuschwanstein is visible. An incredible view. Just a few minutes drive to the parking of the castles. Many restaurants and dinner opportunities within walking distance. Parking behind the hotel. It was possible to buy a cold beer or other drink in the entrance area. The room was clean, and the shower was nice. It was the cheapest place we could find near castle Neuschwanstein.
Lovely room, amazing food, friendly staff, great location. The hotel offers free bicycles which is great for getting into Füssen and to the sites without a car.
